This place is amazing, me and my friends had gotten into a bad crash and needed somewhere to be while we waited for the tow truck. The Server Moe (I think was her name) was super friendly and inviting. Helped us settle down and made sure we got some hot delicious food. Anytime I’m in west Yellowstone from now on I’ll be stopping in for a meal and some pool. Seriously Thank you Moe you made a bad situation a lot easier to handle!

We are from out of town and love to support locals. Walked in at 1130 and my husband said “good morning!” Woman said, with the rudest attitude “it’s not morning and we aren’t serving breakfast.” With a major attitude she said “all the tables are dirty. You can sit here. “ we sat there for about 2 minutes and we looked at each other and I said “she’s rude and I’m not eating here “ we left.

We stayed in West Yellowstone for three days and ended up coming to Old Town Cafe every single day — that’s how much we loved it! The food was consistently amazing — we tried the bison burger with waffle fries, huckleberry lemonade, and chicken wings, and everything tasted absolutely delicious.
The place has great music and a fun, welcoming vibe — really captures that relaxed West Yellowstone energy. The staff were friendly, the portions generous, and it quickly became our favorite spot in town.
Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

Place was great. Server was attentive and polite. We asked awkward questions being from out of town and the folks were helpful. Had the Bison BBQ burger and the Bison Jalapeño burger. Onion rings and waffle fries were delicious. Definitely coming back here next time.
