No frills homestyle restaurant. Friendly service, we were seated immediately during dinnertime with no wait. We ate here twice during our stay. Prices are good for the amount of food they give you. I would recommend the beef stew for $13 which was filling and comes with a fresh roll. I'd also recommend the unlimited soup and salad bar option for like $15. The best thing I ate there was the clam chowder soup (wonderful!), but I only got one bowl because my turkey dinner included...

After a day of driving Yellowstone, the Mrs and I wanted a taste of the local restaurant scene. We walked the town and found a bunch of busy restaurants and were almost going to go somewhere else when she saw the Outpost Restaurant.
The Outpost Restaurant is your favorite restaurant, even though you just found it. All the comfort foods you've come to love from the local mom-and-pop's back home. Healthy portions, well cooked, and the service crew's efficiency...
