A true hidden gem.
It is not just a hotel. Not just an Airbnb. It is a luxury cozy private home stay. We loved staying at Park 520 Hotel. We directly booked the hotel for 2 nights and it was the best cabin we stayed in.
It has all the amenities, we had a good cell phone signal (my service provider is TMobile). They also have wifi. Has hot water, room heater, hair dryer, collection of towels, bedsheets/comforter, 4 burner gas stove, fridge, microwave, kitchen utensils and cutlery.
The view in front of the house was incredible. It was a big open valley and there was a horse ranch on the side. We saw 3 beautiful horses eating grass.
Bed was so comfortable. We had a tight sleep after long hiking. It was so soft and pleasant.
Has good collection of utensils, coffee machine, sugar/salt.
Luckily there was a partial red moon and viewing the shining moon đ at early morning 5 am just by standing near the window is my best moment here. Moonset on the mountain đ is a great to watch.
There is a picnic table in front of our cabin #1 and having a hot coffee by seeing mountain in the front was a good time.
I definitely recommend this place. It is just 9 mins drive from the West Yellowstone town. I found, booking directly in their website was more affordable than booking this place in Airbnb/other 3rd party booking sites.
We will come back for sure !!
We spent two nights here while visiting Yellowstone national park. West Yellowstone was a short 10 mile drive, the cabin was cute and cozy, and it was so peaceful and quiet in the mornings. The only thing was that it was our first time staying in such a remote area with no lighting along the roads or the area, so it was pretty scary for us at night and each creak would throw us off. But that was just us not knowing what to expect. Service was great!
I LOVED our two bedroom cabin! It was exactly as pictured on Airbnb's website. It was so nice to have a full kitchen, including a full-size refrigerator with a freezer! I will definitely book here again the next time we go to Yellowstone!
Excellent value at Yellowstone Park Hotel. Price was better than other hotels. Clean, friendly staff, hot tub and pool immaculate. Breakfast was a B-. Egg choice was breakfast burritos. Coffe was a B. Plenty of other choices. Late season visit but the town was still fully open (last week before closures began).
We loved this hotel. The staff was so friendly. The room was spacious and very clean. The quality of the mattress, pillows, and linens was excellent. The bathroom was spacious and very clean. The bathroom amenities (soaps, shampoo, etc.) were good. Every afternoon, they offered ice cream and ingredients for s'mores are available in the evening if you want to sit around an outdoor campfire. This hotel offers a complimentary breakfast each morning. The cold offerings and coffee are good. The only hot food was tornados with some egg and sausage. They were not very good. Otherwise, we absolutely loved this hotel and would gladly stay there again!
The bed, pillows, shower, air conditioner were all top notch! We also enjoyed the hot tub after a day of climbing, the smores kit and outdoor firepit and the included breakfast for sufficient to get us going every day.
The hotel was clean and comfortable. It was Yellowstone authentic! They offered little extras like smore kits and a fire roasting spot to make for more family fun. The desk manager, Michael, went out of his way to make my family comfortable. He joked with the kids and made origami buffalo for fun. When we had any concerns he was quick to help. He was very knowledgeable about the area and helpful when we needed guidance. I was very impressed with this hotel.
Great check in experience. Staff friendly and helpful. Not a hot complimentary breakfast, but well run and clean. Rooms are large, clean. In September we were surprised at price point but was in line with other competitors. We will be looking this hotel group up again on our next visit.
Not bad considering the selection of hotels in the West Yellowstone area. The main thing is this hotel is clean and the beds comfortable. The decor is outdated and it does feel like like a motel-vibe, but that is most of the places in this area. Location is great (right off the entrance to the main road into the park). The smores are a great nighttime treat although unfortunately with only one fire pit, it can get rather crowded. They have free bikes to rent and even include a helmet. There is always coffee and tea in the lobby. Breakfast leaves a bit to be desired (very standard American breakfast - processed foods like muffins, etc, some unappetizing eggs, fruit/yogurt). We didn't eat breakfast here most days so it wasn't an issue. There is a pool but we didn't use it. Overall we found the hospitality great and would return if we were in the area.
This one earned a bad review in every way. Plz stay at your own risk Booked two rooms together for 2 days. Upon check in, was told 'Requests made via booking.com don't work but we will address your needs of two rooms being together'. One day in, when I head back alone to the hotel, (while rest of my family wasn't around), I discovered my keys aren't working while I still have one more day of reservation. Thinking they malfunctioned, I headed to the reception. I was expecting a 'sorry, here is the fixed key'. Kate - the front desk manager asked first, 'did you extend your stay', and my answer was no. It was booked for 2 days from the get go and we are only one day in. Then she asked for my id, which I provided her. Then without any apology for faulty keys, she told me my name isn't the one on the reservation (for this room), and she cannot issue me another key without seeing the id of the person whose name is on the reservation FOR THIS ROOM. No amount of explanation or evidence - would work for her except the id, offering to show her booking confirmation from booking.com which shows both rooms reserved by me together, and she has confirmed the same already, and also can see my credit card billed for both worked for her. I eventually had to call my grand parent back there to show her his id to get the keys. We missed some activity that day. Problems a. Hotel's fault of keys malfunctioned one day earlier. Technically they should just apologize and provide keys without asking for anything. b. Again hotel's fault to swap names between the two people (my booking was with my name for the room whose keys I was carrying) c. Whether it was an issue with either of the above, any sane person in the hotel industry (called hospitality for a reason) would be able to relate when they have seen ID of the booking on the 2nd room + evidence of their booking via phone / booking.com And no eggs without meat and a rude "No" when politely asked for the same (to multiple people)

Just got back from a four night stay. Great spot for families. Kids had a blast with bikes available to ride, smores and ice cream treats in the evenings. Rooms were cleaned every day. Breakfast was alright. Very carb heavy. Would benefit from adding greek yogurt or hard boiled eggs? Michael at the front desk was so helpful and knowledgeable. Michael was a big hit with our kids as well!
When we got to the hotel, we heard the dreaded words, âwe gave your room away.â But the sentence didnât end there. ââŚI noticed your reservation included kids so I went ahead and upgraded you to room so your family had more space.â ?â¤ď¸ That was just the first thoughtful experience we had. From the amazing front desk crew to the housekeepers who gave my kids Hershey barsâŚeveryone went above and beyond to create a stellar experience and core memory for my family. Highly recommend this gem of a hotel!
The hotel is a seasonal operation that appears to cater to European guests. We stayed for 3 nights. Upon a late arrival, we were met with a less than friendly staff member at the front desk. It was here we first learned that housekeeping was per request. We were okay with that until we got to the room. No hand soap, no glasses. We had to go get them. The carpet in the room had not been cleaned (shampooed) for a while. And we found that the room walls were thin and could hear unwanted conversational sounds. The website did not mention the no daily maid service nor the fact that Wi-Fi was only in the small lobby area with wired internet to the rooms. This was discovered just before we departed from home and confirmed by the hotel when I called them. I then purchased a travel router/hotspot device to accommodate our Wi-Fi devices. This did allow me to use an Amazon locker for the first time while in route to Yellowstone. The breakfast was cold service only. There was a hot egg, cheese taquito available. They varied each day with the amount "heat" they contained. The gentleman caring for the breakfast area was very nice and made sure everything was kept filled and fresh including the guests. We enjoyed talking with him. We observed some of the international guests putting (hopefully) unused utensils and food items back where they found them. That was a bit unsettling especially coming out of Covid. We gave our silverware an extra wipe after that. We were looking forward to smores by the firepit at night, but the fire pit sits out in the open, unsheltered from the wind, rain or cool late September weather. We noticed that a lot of the hotels in the area also had fire pits, so it was not a unique offering. We found that the rooms and hotel in general were always on the warm side. We used the air conditioner and slept with the window open even with the temperatures dropping into the low 30's at night. We did meet the nice lady who took care of the rooms. She gladly traded my bag of trash for a roll of toilet paper and even gave us a couple of bottles of chilled water. The location is great to get into the park quickly and not far from restaurants and such. Overall, I was a little disappointed in our experience after looking forward to it for some time. The price was on the high side for what we got but was competitive to other venues. Perhaps being at the end of the season both the facility and staff were a little tired. One plus to that was the free ice cream bars they were trying to get rid of. Who says no to free ice cream?
We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel, although we did not spend a lot of time in our room as the National Park is full of places to visit. The hotel location is convenient, a few minutes drive from the West entrance of the Park and the staff is friendly, helpful and polite. Also the city of West Yellowstone is a few minutes walk, so no need for driving to the main restaurant/shopping area. The room was clean and comfortable. They do not offer room housekeeping except if you request for it, which is nice due to COVID as well as environmental friendlier as they do not exchange your towels if there is no need to. The breakfast, which is served daily until 10am, had a lot of choices, although there were no fried egg option (only hard boiled) nor fresh fruits, but there were waffles and fresh coffee as well as cereal and bagels. The hotel has a gym as well as a pool, but we did not have time or energy to use them. We heard that they have also free laundry room (not personally used). Last but not least, there is a fire pit outside with free sâmores at night as well as free ice cream every afternoon.
Reading some reviews of other hotels in West Yellowstone helped set our expectations otherwise I would have rated this hotel differently. I have it a 4 bc honestly I think this is as good as it gets in West Yellowstone. Overall, it was fine. The room was clean upon check in, location was convenient and staff was friendly. Our 2nd day there we realized housekeeping hadnât come by and we needed more towels. No problem that housekeeping doesnât clean everyday but normally the hotel will let you know so it just seemed odd. Before we headed out for our 2nd full day in the park, I stopped by the front desk to ask if housekeeping could clean our room while we were out. The girl at the disk was super friendly and said sheâd be happy to have them stop by but then asked what I wanted them to do? Iâve never had to request certain services before from housekeeping. I just thought it would be standard protocol. I asked for clean towels and our beds made up. When we returned later that evening, we did have clean towels however the beds werenât made. Not a huge deal (we can make up our own beds) but just not the typical service you receive at a hotel. We would stay here again as it met our needs and again, staff was friendly which goes a long way in my book!
