We stopped in West Yellowstone and randomly found the Timberline whilst shopping and exploring. It was a nice looking diner-type restaurant, and to be honest, it was just ok. The service was just ok, and the food was just ok. we were there for lunch, and I went with the slider sampler. One (the bison) was good, one (the elk) was ok, and one (the mixed meats) was just eh. I got a couple bits of bone in the mixed meat one, which was not great. My wife got the hot turkey sammich....
Main course come with all you can eat salad bar and soup. With the price you pay, the best food so far here at west yellow stone.
We order meatloaf spaghetti and fish and chip. The cod fish is fresh with crispy hand made fries. Spaghetti is quite soaky but we like though.
After a long day in Yellowstone, my wife and I wanted a light dinner in a quiet restaurant. We decided to try the Timberline Inn because it seemed to be exactly what we wanted. We could not have been more pleased with our experience there. Although they were moderately busy when we arrived, we were quickly seated and greeted by a very friendly and helpful waiter.
