Food was amazing! Was really looking forward to a wonderful first experience here and unfortunately, se got the waitress who did not belong in customer service. For a $450 dinner, we were rarely checked on, felt like we were a bother to her when she did check on us, when she did come to the table, we couldn't even get everyone's orders in because she would just walk away before we could even get them out! She slapped the desert menu down and walked away without even saying a word. She's lucky to have gotten the already built in 20% tip because she certainly didn't deserve it and would not have gotten it otherwise.
Abruzzo has wonderful, friendly service and a cozy upscale ambiance. I wish they had more vegetarian main options and since it's an Italian restaurant, an espresso machine. The cocktail menu continues to get better and better. It's definitely a staple spot in downtown Whitefish and great for bringing out-of-town guests.
Fantastic dinner, our server, Katie, was so nice and steered us to a very nice wine. The food was cooked perfectly. As usual.
Always wonderful! We hit Abruzzo at least two times when we are in town!!! Elk Tar Tarš, wild Biar Ragu and the strip steak are our favorites!!! We rarely deviate! Love ā¤ļø Abruzzo!
Truly amazing. Probably the best restaurant experience I've had in Montana. Will definitely be back
This was a really nice and comfortable restaurant! The atmosphere was cozy and our server was friendly!
I had the New York strip steak and my wife had the spaghetti w/meatballs. Both plates were really good! Wouldn't mind going again if I visit Whitefish again.

We're here a few times a year and we go to Abruzzo at least once every trip. The food is always 10/10 (my favorite is the rigatoni alla vodka) and the service is 10000/10.
As a woman said as we were waiting to be seated "don't worry - it's worth the wait." The service was excellent, and the food was just as the woman said. The Heluka Pork Chop Parmagiano was a monstrosity in the best way. This one of two restaurants in Whitefish that I can say that you absolutely should not miss.
Our experience at Abruzzoās was nothing like the previous reviews I am seeing here. To add to our disappointment I saw the waitress steal money. Tried over 10 times to speak with management. Left many messages asking someone to return a call to me. To this date have never been contacted. I would highly recommend not to do business there. Our bill was wrong by 90.00. Mentioned that in my messages. Maybe that was the part they didnāt want to discuss.
Funny you canāt find any evidence we ate at your establishment on Oct 14th had 12 people in our group. Left over 500.00 there. Have phone logs to prove how many times I called. Late Sat afternoon a call was made to my phone from your business, after I posted this review. I also contacted google. Funny how my calls were not a priority to you until you are unhappy with my review. Would have been much simpler to discuss this on the phone versus debating on review page. Guess you chose that solution.

We went with another couple. Each of us ordered a different entree and they were all fabulous! Service was great. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
When in Whitefish, Abruzzo is a must stop! We had reservations for eleven, and had a fabulous time. We were sat in a cozy space that seemed to be made just for our group and the atmosphere was perfect! The food was incredible (pictured is the wild boar linguine) and the service was amazing! Our waitress was friendly, informative and fun! The NY Strip is legendary and highly recommended! 5 Stars for sure!

Pasta carbonara was too chewy with overly strong bacon flavor. Caesar salad dressing was bland with bacon. Waitress did supply anchovies upon request. Chicken was tough. Drinks were very good. Ambience was great.
Worst pizzas Iāve ever had⦠honestly frozen pizzas are sometimes better than the ones we had here. The crust was hard, crunchy and inedible, and if you saw the toppings aside from the pizza, you would never guess that they go on pizza. This is the furthest thing from italian pizzas. It also felt overpriced - we paid 20$-30$ for a 12inch pizza
