The food is incredibly fresh. Brought to your table quickly. A modern comfortable decor. Furniture to sit back and relax in. Not to mention an awesome brewery. Blackstar supports the community! ❤️Also a wonderful venue to host an event including a chill rooftop with a gorgeous view of big mountain. The staff goes above and beyond. Loved it!

What a great environment! The food was delicious! I had the pot pie, my daughter had the chicken wings. What a great place to meet for a large group of people. We had a group of 12 in our party. The craft beverages were truly off the charts, so good! They were able to seat all of us. We brought our own surprise birthday cake. We will definitely be back!

Finally made it in here, food was great. Smash burger was awesome, zesty bbq wings also awesome! Overall, great food and clean looking spot with good tunes. Mad at my self for not stopping in sooner in the last 10 years.

Really tried to hold up on the chicken pot pie until the pic was made but no deal. Great atmosphere here- salad was delicious and my friend who had the pizza gave me a slice to try and it was bangin’ as well! Really cool place and great staff!!

Listen, if you want my tip before you deliver the food, I guess it really doesn’t matter what kind of service you give. Machines could do as good a job of bringing food to your table. Had to ask for utensils, napkins, plates, and all the meals came out at different times because they serve the food when it’s ready…. Hey, here’s an idea: start cooking the food from one table’s order so it all comes out at the same time - the way it’s normally done. That way all your guests can eat at the same time. Sorry to be such an inconvenience. I’m not going back, thanks.

Blackstar is definitely a place where you want to visit if you’re searching for an up-beat happening atmosphere. The food is what you would expect in a pub- not gourmet but not bad either. The staff staying busy but remain friendly and attentive. The overall feel is a fun one! If you’re in the block and wanna catch a game or with a large group stop by. 😊

Service, what service? If you like clearing your own table, getting your own silverware and waiting on yourself, then this is the place for you (They actually have a tip line at payment, for waiting on yourself; self checkout style?). Atmosphere was good; pub/ brewery style. Beer and food were good. Service, nonexistent!

We are a group of four visiting the area and saw this place while shopping today and decided to go for dinner and trivia as they advertised Trivia night on Thursdays. I specifically called and asked about Trivia night and what time to come. We got there about 1/2 hour early. Seated ourself like the sign said and ordered our food via the QR code. Someone brought two of us food and when I asked for silverware and an extra plate she rolled her eyes. The two that ordered sodas were switched so one had to get up and ask and was told to bring it to the bar. We also had to grab our own water at the bar. She noticed an area with silverware and grabbed the last 2 forks and a few napkins. No one said it was self serve plates and silverware. Then at 6:45 I flagged someone down and asked about 6:30 Trivia. Nope, it was cancelled tonight because there was a car accident, but we were told everyone was ok. Umm tell us when we come in the door that it’s canceled and give us the option to stay or go! And if we stay…tell us to get our own plates and silverware! The food was decent, the burger and fries were good, the pretzel was soggy and the cheese was grainy. The pizza was your typical thin crust greasy pepperoni pizza. This place was recommended by the people in our hotel shuttle, but they obviously had a different experience! Our service was terrible after asking for an upfront tip when ordering. The food was just delivered and practically thrown at us. No actual service and they were not friendly all. Big disappointment!
