The buffalo is a life saver! Life! When we were desperate not to cook and tired from biking, the buffalo dinner service saved us. We arrived 30 minutes before close, and were greeted with a “you made it just in time”, accompanied by Stephanie’s killer service. I told her my boyfriend and I were splitting our two entrees, and she brought everything out already split on separate plates. We were tired and that was a big deal. Thanks to the staff, thanks for letting us stay when we were hungry and you were closing. It’s always wonderful to sit at your restaurant and smell the sweet walls that house your syrup smell.

We loved this place so much during our visit to GNP we went back for dinner a second time two nights later. The basic burger was one of the best we’d ever had. The bison meatloaf was stellar. Fries made it into the top 10 for us also. Beef stroganoff was a little heavy on the salt but a good stroganoff flavor. Prices were reasonable for the area and atmosphere. If we make it back to Whitefish from NC we’ll definitely return! Service was friendly and fast even while busy.

Cute little restaurant in downtown Whitefish. Great menu options with local style/flavor. We got there at 7:30, and open seating but they got busy fast. Had the breakfast. Fast service with a smile, food was delicious, good sized portions! Much better than hotel food.
