Shoulder season! (?) food quality was interesting. Taste construction didn't happen. I was confused by the flavor and presentation. Veggies were half perfect and half over/under cooked. I really didn't understand what the chef is trying to do! We paid $400 for a meal that I easily forgot.
Food was delicious and service was great

The menu was innovative without sacrificing taste.
Absolutely floored by how good the chickpea fritters are. I could binge eat those.
The Foie Gras was one of the best I've had.
Pheasant was pleasant. Bison tenderloin was a perfect plate.

The restaurant itself is beautiful with a posh and upscale-looking bar. The food and cocktail menus also appeared conceptually interesting with locally sourced ingredients. However, it became clear very early on that this was a place designed for Instagram, not for culinary excellence as both the food and drinks were very poorly executed. The appetizers were okay, but the cocktails were far too diluted and the entrées just fell flat. Again, interesting ideas but it was clear that the chefs and owners were going for style over substance. For example, the coconut curry in the Nappa [sic] cabbage dish was bland and boring. The other dishes were equally as uninspired with the possible exception of the pheasant. In sum, the food here needs lots of work--especially for the prices. Toning down the affectation and focusing on the food would go a long way.

We had a fantastic meal here last night. The service was absolutely exceptional and the food was on point. The Bison Tartar is absolutely amazing with a variety of complex flavours including smoke and the potato chips are melt in your mouth delicious.
The Bison Tenderloin was perfectly cooked and the Grit Cake it comes with just might be the star of the show. After a disappointing visit earlier in the summer management generously took care of us that evening and made sure our next visit was an exceptional experience.I highly recommend a visit

Wow, this place has it figured out! Top notch service, well thought out beautiful & delicious food as well as an elegant yet hip atmosphere.
I would highly recommend the chickpea fritters, burrata, pheasant & spruce tip ice cream. Although I’m sure everything is delicious on the menu. You can really tell the chef and/or owner really care about the food they serve as well as the way it’s served.
One of the best restaurants and meals I have personally had, thank you!

This place is an absolute joke lol. Insufferable people greeting at the front, the most mid food you’ve ever had, outrageous prices (for what you get), and a lingering, unsettling vibe in the atmosphere…… wonder why…

Simply one of the best meals I’ve ever had. This is a nicer and more upscale restaurant - a tiny bit more expensive than most in town - but maybe one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Delicious SMD perfect margaritas. Bone marrow - the best. Burrata salad perfect. Soft shell in MT? Heck yea - amazing! Ok - drum roll - the Iberia pork shop - simply the best. Oh - the meringue - wow! Yea - was that good - senate extra $32, WELL WORTH IT!

A very unhurried and wonderful dining experience. The cocktails are great. Every dish has an innovative twist that adds to the meal. Prices are high ... drinks, wines etc are too high. But if you ignore the prices, this is a gem.

I will not return to this restaurant, nor would I recommend it to others. They are highly inflexible, not customer oriented. For example, no bread on the table... the answer, Chef Earl doesn't make bread. They try to up charge for additional add ons, for example, a request for additional sauce for the crab cake came with a $5 charge on the bill. Too bad.

My wife and I decided to meander through the menu and split a few different things. Our favorites were the beat tartar and tempura mushrooms and perfectly cooked halibut. We had excellent service and our whole dinner was great.
Outstanding food and service and wine list. Was my wife's birthday and the staff made it a truly memorable experience. Fine dining executed to perfection. Well done. Malcolm and Kathleen
The restaurant continues to set the bar very high for other dining experiences in Whitefish. The server, Dennis, was wonderful and incredibly knowledgeable about every single dish. Ventured out this time and tried the Lion Mane & Foie Gras Pie. Exceptional.
