One of the finest dining experiences we've enjoyed, and certainly the finest dining experience we have enjoyed in the Flathead Valley. The food was exceptional, delicious, and unigue. Such flavorful creativity was a true delight. The service was fantastic and relaxed. And what a treat to meet Earl, the owner/Chef, and get to hear some of his story. He didn't stop by the table once, he came by multiple times and we enjoyed every visit. We enjoyed a dinner out to celebrate our Anniversary. We were greeted with a “it must be love” card at our table (signed by the staff) and wonderful service throughout the evening. We look forward to our next visit!
Such an incredible food experience. The stafff are thrilled to serve and love food. The resturant is chef focused so the floors are amazing and the best non alcoholic wine. This is what doing it right feels like. Thank you
Amazing food amd atmosphere, we had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner at this restaurant. Thank you for a wonderful service, we will come back. Wishing you all Happy Holidays season!
Absolutely an amazing evening. Our service was outstanding and the food was so delicious. We loved the pace of the experience as we wanted to enjoy our time with friends. It is always a treat to taste the combination of ingredients and flavors the Chef prepares. I highly recommend experiencing Herb and Omni for yourself.
I brought my husband here to celebrate our first anniversary. My husband is a chef and we are both huge foodies. We have had the opportunity to experience amazing food and restaurants around the world. Chef Reynolds has crated a fun a flavorful menu that was top notch. His crab cakes were truly spectacular, light and delicious. Neither my husband or I are fans of mole but I decided to try the duck which comes with a cherry mole. It was amazing and my husband even commented that the mole was probably the best part of our entire dinner. As amazing as the food was, it was more than that, this was an experience. The space is beautiful and elegant. The staff were amazing, from the time we walked through the door they were friendly and welcoming. The table service was truly top notch. Our wait staff was attentive and engaging while still allowing us time to enjoy each others company. They went out of their way to make our special night truly special. My husband kept saying how much he enjoyed himself and that it was the best dinning experience we have ever had. Thank you so much for creating a special night for us! We will definitely come back for other special occasions.
We enjoyed our evening... the service felt a bit rushed. The caviar course was a fun start. Hot dishes were barely warm. Salads were fresh. Champagne and wine were fabulous. Our groups first time to Herb and Omni.
We dined here for a birthday and lots of staff, including the maitre ‘d, our server Joe, and the sommelier made us feel well taken care of. All the food was delicious. I also love that Herb & Omni lowered their prices for shoulder season a little bit, and that their menu is so playful right now! We will definitely return for special occasions.
We are “older “ 60. The seating in the bar area was noisier than we anticipated and couldn't hear one another at a 2 top. Service was fine. Food... the Korean short ribs great. I had the delicious... missing ingredients listed on the menu (chestnuts). Also the squash slices were underdone... more than Al dente... raw. My husband had the coulotte steak... he ordered medium and was blue to rare. The roasted veggies were delicious.
If a Dorothy and Toto sized tornado dropped this restaurant into any other major food city on the planet it would immediately make the resident chefs and restaurateurs nervous. We had a 6 pm Saturday evening reservation and arrived on time and were greeted by 2 gracious and informative hosts. We were told to expect great things and they built up expectations which did were met on all levels. The room we were seated in is elegant, refined without being pretentious. Our server Brandon was quick to greet us and take us through the lengthy but not overly fussy cocktail options. His suggestions were informative and honest and we very much appreciated that. We were lucky enough to come on one of the first nights of the new winter menu and Brandon guided us through it nicely. We started with the whitefish corndog snacks- absolutely excellent and reminded me of classic pike quenelles with a crispy beer batter exterior. Wonderful. We had the chicory salad- the chokecherry gastrique was wonderful and not lost on this wonderful dish, and the crab cakes- unlike all other crab cakes, light, perfectly pan fried and filled with crab on a beautiful nitrous charged sauce (was it remoulade?) amazing. The mains we chose were the wagyu and the eggplant and both were wonderful. The fried enoki mushrooms plated with the wagyu stole the show and could easily stand alone as an app or snack here IMHO. The chef touched our table and we were delighted to meet him. This is truly an amazing experience. I dont care about stars or Michelin ratings any longer but this one would earn all to be had in my ratings book.
The best meal we've had in Whitefish, MT, hands down. Chef Earl and his team are doing something special here. Playful touches (whitefish corn dog) and real artistry in the menu we experienced last night If you're in town (or even near town), I can't recommend it enough.

We visited Whitefish to do a birthday trip for my wife and decided to eat here for the dinner. We were both impressed with everything from the service to the food. Both things we ordered were incredible. High recommend this for an upscale eating spot.

We had reservations for a Saturday night, party of 10. For appetizers our table tried everything on the menu, the short rib is by far the best, with the caprese salad a close second. Freaking phenomenal. I had the wagyu steak, which was cooked exactly as I ordered (rare+); it may have been the best steak I've ever had, perfect crust over some kind of carrot based puree. The potatoes were very good too, (Sometimes you go to these fancy restaurants and they give you a tiny amount on your entree) I didn't even get to the asparagus as the food portions were ample. Service was phenomenal, drinks were quick and on point as ordered. This is a great place to bring a date or to celebrate with a large party. Pricey but highly recommended.

My husband and I love a special dinner, and Herb and Omni did not disappoint. It was amazing and one of those meals you will always remember. The wait staff were great also! Such nice people and thankful for the meal recommendations.
We’ve ate at many wonderful restaurants and we both agreed this was the most unique and delicious food we’ve had. If you’re trying to decide… do it!
