We visited Whitefish to do a birthday trip for my wife and decided to eat here for the dinner. We were both impressed with everything from the service to the food. Both things we ordered were incredible. High recommend this for an upscale eating spot.

We had reservations for a Saturday night, party of 10. For appetizers our table tried everything on the menu, the short rib is by far the best, with the caprese salad a close second. Freaking phenomenal. I had the wagyu steak, which was cooked exactly as I ordered (rare+); it may have been the best steak I've ever had, perfect crust over some kind of carrot based puree. The potatoes were very good too, (Sometimes you go to these fancy restaurants and they give you a tiny amount on your entree) I didn't even get to the asparagus as the food portions were ample. Service was phenomenal, drinks were quick and on point as ordered. This is a great place to bring a date or to celebrate with a large party. Pricey but highly recommended.

My husband and I love a special dinner, and Herb and Omni did not disappoint. It was amazing and one of those meals you will always remember. The wait staff were great also! Such nice people and thankful for the meal recommendations. We’ve ate at many wonderful restaurants and we both agreed this was the most unique and delicious food we’ve had. If you’re trying to decide… do it!

My husband surprised me with a trip to Glacier National Park on my birthday, choosing Herb&Omni as a celebration place based on its great reviews on OpenTable. He called them a week in advance to book a table, informing them it was my birthday.
From the very first impression, the Herb&Omni raises unpleasant feelings. The hostesses do not seem to correspond to the place with a high price tag, neither with their behaviour nor their looks. Their decision-making brings disappointment, too. They seated us in a corner, far from the windows, in a space suitable for two small kids. We were next to a couple with a crying baby, just a few inches from my husband. After that, a waiter comes over who behaves like a dancing monkey. The waiter seemed nicer than the hostesses, but not to the level you would expect from a place with a high price tag. We didn't have a chance to order food because we realised that choosing Herb&Omni as the dining place for the celebration was a huge mistake. Lastly, when we decided to leave, the waiter asked us if he could recommend a place to go. Which was nice of him, but it didn't seem appealing to take any recommendations from him since he had just informed us a few minutes earlier that the table we were at was his favorite in the restaurant.
Places like Herb&Omni create a negative impression of WhiteFish and, as a result, Montana for the first-time visitors of the region. If you want to have a good impression of the city and the state, Herb&Omni is the last place to choose for visiting, and especially for planning any celebrations.

What a beautiful restaurant! Service was exceptional. Food was outstanding! Drinks were perfect. Four levels of event space. They even had a live cabaret show the night we walked in. Rooftop bar area is stunning - beautiful views. Located conveniently on the main strip (Central Ave.) in Whitefish, MT. I 100% recommend this place. My wife and I will be back for sure.
So overall the experience was great but the 3 things that really made it great were: 1. the Leek Dumplings WERE amazing so so so delicious - anyone going should order them - one of the best things I have eaten in ages 2. the rooftop bar, we had a pre-dinner drink there and it is fabulous - only wish they served dinner up there - opportunity for making this place even better 3. Grace was our server and she provided great service and answered our questions about Whitefish and related topics Thanks for a great evening - I hope to return next visit to eat those dumplings

Outstanding service and exceptional food. It never disappoints and frankly it is one of the few restaurants we frequent in town because the chef and team work so hard to accommodate my spouse's dietary restrictions. Even with those, they manage to deliver a wonderful meal and overall experience.
