Enjoyed the food. The rolls are tasty and not skimpy; loved the creativeness. Priced around $15 and up. Only con was that the rice was falling apart. A little lacking on the friendliness, but nobody was rude. Just a little robotic like.

Food was ok but we only got half of our order and the other half 15 minutes later. Also we never got our sake and had to argue with the waitress to get it

An amazing birthday dinner experience! Food was delicious, service was very good considering it was packed while we were here. Sake was excellent ( I would recommend tears of dawn for sake). The atmosphere was great. We were treated well for our birthday, the mochi was great ( dessert).

Will not accept reservations.
Called + currently hour + a half wait.
Would not add our name to the wait list unless we went in in person. So drive 45 mins to add our name to a list to wait another 90mins. Ridiculous.

The atmosphere was lowsy and so was the food. We had some of their Asian fusion rolls and the flavors did not match (we have been to a lot of other sushi places and are really into sushi, this place disappointed us). The prices also catered to tourists... too expensive. The servers were not professional and took a very long time to get to us (we could see them chatting it up, despite it being a busy time). We didn't feel any sort of good vibe whatsoever.

We had the pleasure of experiencing Indah for my birthday. It is a pleasure to be able to write a post that far exceeds a five star review.
Indah Sushi has by far the freshest selection that we have ever experienced. We are originally from Southern California and we have experienced a lot of sushi restaurants, and to find that the best sushi that we have ever had is in whitefish is a great surprise to say the least.
We started off with happy hour. They have an AmaZing selection of Saki. We chose and recommend Huckleberry Haze Saki. Oh My Gosh!!! And have you ever tried sushi tacos? We haven’t until now and It is a must! The tuna and the salmon are divine. Also… Each of the roles that we tried California Love, Ahi Jewel, Platinum and Spicy Tuna were so delicious, fresh, beautifully displayed and the sizes we so generous and it was all so reasonably priced! We need to also add that the big eye tuna and the tenderloin nigiri phenomenal!!
Now we can go on and on about the food, but we want to let you know about the experience and the service. Jeff was our server. Not only was he kind and knowledgeable, he treated us like we’ve been friends forever. We would like to give a shout out to everyone at Indah that evening.
Thank you to Jeff, Jordan, Alexia, Brandon, Chase and owner Tiffany, who must be so proud to have such a wonderful staff that she can trust to run her business as if it was their own.
In ending… we live 2 1/2 hours away and though we have good sushi an hour to our nearest city - When the sushi crave hits (which is often), we will make the drive to Indah and make an entire evening of it.
David & Lu want to thank Indah for providing us with a wonderful post honeymoon and birthday celebration!

Good but different. I'm not into that type of food but it was awesome

Had such a great dining experience at Indah. A welcoming atmosphere, with fun decor. Our server was so attentive and very friendly. The food was INCREDIBLE. Fusion sushi, but also has some regular classics. They’re happy to accommodate any dietary needs, too. Highly recommend the salt and pepper as well as the kinda lingers. Will definitely be back

As a tourist to the area, I was a little surprised by this place. I would call it artisanal sushi. I would also share Whitefish, Montana has a resort tax of approximately 3%. We did not know this was a thing for this town.

My husband had miso soup to start. I will say it was a good portion serving. What is surprising, and I overheard another customer say this, miso soup should not have sesame seeds in it. I am very big on declared allergens, and with sesame being one of the 9, I was surprise at how often it was used and not declared, including in the soup.
The vegetable tempura, what can I say. Half of the vegetables were broccoli. I kid you not. I do not eat broccoli, so my husband does it for me. We spent the majority of the time picking them out. He hardly got to taste anything else. There were maybe 2 or 3 brussel sprouts and the same in mushroom. After the broccoli in quantity, there were cauliflower followed by carrots. A few of the carrots were not as soft as I would have expected. Overall, the veggie tempura order was a letdown in selection. As for the preparation, I think the dish has potential if the correct vegetables are chosen in the future. Sweet potato, cucumber, and bell pepper slices, these are things which would add assortment to what was given.
The Maki, rolled sushi. What to say. The flavors are unique. The google maps photo of the menu is out of date. I looked at the order online descriptions while writing this, and it is also an old version. One of the sushi rolls had a slightly slimey texture. I believe it was the fish. The tempura in another was hard and super crunchy. I could hardly tell the tempura was shrimp inside. I am used to a plump shrimp, which reminds you what you ordered. The "love sauce" is what you would expect it to be. A yellow-orange slightly spicy sauce used to top rolls. I would also like to mention sesame is added or cross contaminated on the rolls. If you have an issue with sesame, buyer be ware.

Service, what can I say here, too? Snarky is the word that comes to mind. Snarky to customers wanting to do takeout and to people dining in. Although I will say, the takeout wanted to sit at a table. Water refill had to be asked for. No one asked if I wanted a refill on my paid drink. Water was not received until the check arrived. The glass had been sitting at the end of the table for over half the meal. They did ask if we wanted a dessert, though.
Overall, the meal was $40 per person, which was more than I would have liked for it.

We did not enjoy our visit. It felt very tourist trappy… Do not go for the “trust the chef” option! They served us the most random stuff. To start they told us there would be 6 courses, but with the 4th course they told us that they noticed we had trouble finishing the last course, so they would “reduce” the meal to only 4 courses. Let me tell you what they didn’t reduce, THE PRICE.

Its going to be hard to not sound like a Karen- but wow... You can't make this up. Please don't trust the 4 stars and fall into a tourist trap like we did- this was so bad.

We ordered the "Trust us" - we shouldn't have. The only good thing we have to say is that our server did seem to care, but at the same time, he didn't.
We asked for one serving (of two servings total) with nothing spicy, and they served spicy food twice, then challenged us as if we weren't there while eating it in front of us; however, they did remake our food and agreed it was spicy, so there's that.

The food was very expensive for poor quality and serving sizes although, according to our server, the items we received were the best and favorites of the menu.

There was no atmosphere. The only way to describe it would be hanging out in your friends basement, if your friend smoked a lot of pot. For reference, the server was getting his hair braided by a customer(?) whose group I never saw eat food, but merely sat around the front table chatting with the employees.

We had our meal boxed to go because we thought there'd be a better chance of enjoying it on our own- to be honest, it didn't even look appetizing and my husband had a few pieces and said it was bad. We're from the midwest, for reference.

Excellent food and atmosphere. We ordered:

Nigiri Combo: very delicious and fresh flavors
Stumptown Maki: Same. Fantastic flavor, tender shrimp.

Noodles w/ beef tenderloin: really nice flavor, generous portion (took 1/2 home). Personally I would have liked more carrot and cabbage + the beef to be cut thinner but overall a solid dish.

Drinks were good and service was great. Music was also very good - good mix and just the right volume.

I would recommend and I would go back.

We dropped into Indah Sushi the other night, met by a very friendly staff member, made us feel very comfortable and welcomed right away. The food was fantastic, we had a mixture of sashimi and nigiri plus some yakisoba noodles, all was awesome/delicious.

I never had Japanese food that tasted so bad
Sushi rice was dry
Masago was soapy
Spicy scallops were tasteless- we ate only half of it
Crab was bulky and tasteless
Tempura looked and tasted like teriyaki shrimp and vegetables on a bed of rice with mayo sauce on it
No dish we ordered was good except coconut soup
The pictures on website do not accurately represent the food we got

Will never visit ???????
