Ate here on a recommendation. We had a party of eight. Majority of orders were steaks and I had the scallop special. Two of the steaks were ordered medium and came out extremely rare...had to send them back. All steaks and my scallop plate contained different types of sauces on them. Everyone had the same opinion...their dish was ruined by the sauces. The only two meals that were enjoyed were a personal pizza and burger. The icing on the cake was the $850 bill...definitely not worth it. Will never return and do not recommend.

It was very busy when we walked in but the friendly hostess got us seated at ‘the bar’ which is exactly in front of the kitchen (which we love).
Food: Ordered pizza (sorry can’t recall which one) - switched out pancetta for elk sausage (no problem with the chef) and house salad. Flatbread was delicious, crispy crust, excellent flavors. The salad was fresh and flavorful.
Service: Everyone was very friendly (chefs, hostess, etc). Our server was a bit awkward but still friendly enough.
Atmosphere: I gave it a 4 only because of the lack of music in the restaurant. It gave it a weird, dead vibe. However, the music in the bathroom was great! I believe they said they were having issues with the sound system.
Overall, I would recommend and we would go back.

We had a lovely table for 6 but the restaurant must have been short staffed. We ordered an appetizer that we had to ask about several times. We ordered the Caesar Salad and the dressing was bland. We ordered scallops and they came to our table not warm. One person ordered Duck and we were told it burned so his meal would be out later. The five of us ate our cool scallops and tried to wait for the Duck to be served. For a high end restaurant, this was not the service and quality you would expect.

Too noisy for conversation. Horrible experience trying to make a reservation. Can't talk to a live person and did not get a confirmation until 3 hours before our time, as no one works earlier in the day to respond to reservation requests via phone or internet. I wanted to reserve one of the two private booths (never a problem in the past) but I was told they had larger parties that got priority and we were only 2 people. I like to go there because the booths are safer from covid infection, and all the other tables are jambed together elbow to elbow with other diners. >>>> We had to take a 5:45 pm reservation, and for the 1.5 hrs we were there , one booth remained unoccupied and the other one had a party of 2 This has always been my go to restaurant, as I love the pizza and other meals, but I doubt I will go back. Primarily due to difficulty to get a booth reserved.
My pizza was fine, but my wife was disappointed with her salmon fettuccini. Noodles were cold and undercooked. She considered sending it back but didn't want to fuss and ruin the outing.
Great service, nice people working there. Food was average and Very expensive for Montana. When we first got there we could hear what our guests were saying. After not too long the noise level made it impossibly to hear anything.
The food was way too sweet, and the main dishes were unappealing. I haven't been to the restaurant in about 5 years and our experience there this last summer was subpar at best, sadly.

2nd time here and consistent excellence. My party ordered the scallops (server said 5 to a serving, but only 4 on my plate) , elk steak, and steak frites. Brussels sprouts appetizer. Lemoncello cake, NY cheesecake.

Latitude 48 Bistro offers a cozy and intimate setting, ideal for a date night. The ambience is pleasant, with a carefully selected menu that leans towards the pricier side. Despite the smaller portions, the service stands out, with waiters who are attentive and accommodating, making it a memorable experience for a special evening out.

LOUD. My 70 yr old ears were still ringing after we left. Great menu, loved the small plates, good service, great food , but did I say loud? Ok we had a boisterous group nearby but all hard surfaces, nothing to muffle noise.
Food was outstanding and service was excellent. Cocktails good too!
