We had the Thanksgiving Buffet there and it was wonderful! It was the first time my family and I went out to eat for Thanksgiving and it was so good that I think it's our new tradition.

Food was not that good, loud guitar player...very distracting. The waitress was ok, not super attentive. I think I will skip this place for awhile

We made a reservation for three, my son, myself and my 4 year old granddaughter, to celebrate my son’s birthday. We were seated promptly, however things went downhill fast. It was not very busy in our section. After around 10 minutes, our server took our drink orders. The arrived around 15 minutes later. I told her that it was my son’s birthday. I ordered a huckleberry lemon drop, and for it being a specialty drink that cost $14.00, I was looking forward and anticipating a nice chilled cocktail. It took around 15 minutes for the drinks to arrive. My drink was tepid and tasted like sugar water. Very disappointing. I sent it back and just opted for a non alcoholic beverage. A short time later our server took our orders, my son got braised short ribs, I ordered the pasta and my granddaughter ordered the pizza from kids menu. After around 20-25 minutes later our food arrived. The pizza was barely warm, to where the cheese was a little hardened, my son’s braised ribs were bland and didn’t have much flavor. My pasta dish was pretty good and flavorful- I was happy with my order. Once we finished our dinner, it took a really long time for our server to get back to our table to see if we wanted dessert (however I did tell her it was a birthday). She did come to clear the plates, and I asked her about the birthday and what they had to offer. She finally brought over the dessert menus, and we decided on vanilla ice cream. She took the order and then brought three spoons to our table, and we were happy that we were going to celebrate and my granddaughter was really looking forward it. The next thing we knew, the server began waiting on other tables, that weren’t even hers, there were multiple servers. And we were all really perplexed, and kind of taken aback. At least another 5-10 minutes went by and the hostess walked by and would see the look of disappointment at our table and asked if everything was okay. I told her “we are just waiting on our ice cream for this birthday celebration” and she said something like she would take care of or look into it. Another 5-10 minutes go by, our server is still tending to other tables. I finally told my son that if she walked by one more time without acknowledging us again, I was done waiting. Sure enough, she walked by, not a word and ignored us. As she was walking back towards the kitchen I presume, I told her to forget the ice cream and to please bring the check. Even my 4 year old granddaughter knew this was messed up, she wanted to have ice cream and sing happy birthday to her daddy. And sensed the rudeness of it all. Once I asked for the check the server brought it right over, with the card reader. I was planning to pay the tip in cash, which I had in my hand. Once she saw that I didn’t include the tip on my card, she very rudely assumed I wasn’t going to tip her, and made a very snarky remark and rude thank you.and she took off. was really quite stunned and wasn’t sure what just really happened. I was about to leave the cash on the table but then it just hit me that this whole experience was not right. Then I just decided to leave because not once was there any apology for running behind or consideration that this was a birthday celebration or that we had a 4 year old - zero effort to make this an experience to remember. My son had been here several times in the past, and was always pleased with everything. Just disappointing all the way around.

We chose Logan's for dinner since it is conveniently located in Grouse Mountain Lodge where were were staying. Logan's offered a good selection of food and drinks that were somewhat on the expensive side, but the food was delicious and some of the dishes offered were unique. Service was pleasant but unfortunately slow. Would definitely recommend if a convenient location is important to you (away from town).
**Dismal Experience at Logan's Bar and Grille** I had high hopes for Logan's Bar and Grille, especially given that they require reservations, but it was a complete letdown. The service was painfully slow and inattentive, leaving us feeling neglected most of the evening. As for the food, it was nowhere near the standard I'd expect from a restaurant in Whitefish. Bland flavors, lukewarm dishes, and overall disappointing. Save your time (and money) and go elsewhere!
It's absolutely lovely place to eat and stay, beautiful hotel! Would stay again!!

Excellent dinner sitting outdoors on a beautiful evening. Spinach salad was wonderful and my wife said it was top 5 for her. My trout was tasty, tender and terrific. Kyle, our server, was attentive and friendly. I would strongly recommend Logan's!

Ended up here as a second choice on a busy night in town, but it was fantastic. I had salmon salad and for $18 it was a phenomenal value. Wife had French dip which was pretty good and kids meals were good portions. Kids burger could’ve fed me, and it was cooked well. Cocktails overpriced but delicious.

Great trout,French dip and good game bird. Drinks were good Probbaly wouldn't get Brussel sprouts again the were dry and no dressing. Beautiful spot for dinner Service was great
Food was great. Prices are very reasonable for an out of control resort town. The google menu is out of date. Check the website. Me and my Whitefish friends will be back.

Food and atmosphere were great. Hostess pleasantly told us she'd be right with us a handful of times which was fine as they were busy but never once asked us about our reservation, how many people were in our party or if we wanted to sit outside. We finally had someone greet out table 22 minutes after we arrived for a last minute reservation. Bartender/server was really nice but I watched my lemondrop martini being made at the bar with lemonade from the gun which made a watery drink not a balanced cocktail. Went to Jalisco Cantina the following evening and the experience between the two restaurants was night and day!

For the area this place had better food than the boat club and at a slightly lower price. I got a steak at each and GML was the winner.
