The Caesar salad was really good, smash burger gets thumbs up. Bread service was good just not sure it's with the price? Ambuence is a bit hotelly, sitting on patio would maybe have been better. Huckleberry Mule was awesome. It all becomes kind of average really based on price, ambience and service. It was a Sunday so kind of slow and everything came at once :-(. On the plus side you get a lot of good for the price. It eoukd be hard to go away hungry.
Fantastic trout dish! Excellent fried archtichoke salad over hummus and arugula. Lovely wait staff, too.
Beautiful setting on the golf course. Not a large choice of entrees but everyone found something they enjoyed. The pork chop and wild meat bolognese were big hits! Free desert for the birthday girl!
My wife's birthday and she ordered The porter house pork chop which outstanding. Melt in your mouth delicious. Lucky her. I ordered the elk venison pork Bolognese. I couldn't tell the difference in taste between the elk venison or pork. Sorry but it was kind of bland. It needed more spice and a richer tomatoes sauce.
It wasn't packed. They timed how many people were being seated and dining great. Food was kept warm. It was delicious. The only tiny thing I could suggest was cup for the as jus. Tiny detail, but I still give it 5 stars. And the waffles with the peach lavender were to die for!
The server Alice made the entire experience what it was. Without her you'd be getting a 2 star review at best. This woman not only cared for her customers but was attentive and understanding the whole time. You new menu is way too salty. The steak looked cooked perfectly but was profoundly tough to chew. Which made me Leary as we ordered it medium rare and it came that way. But to chew it was like eating overly salted jerky. The fish was good but wondered why the bottom half was completely salty. And the rest of everything was way way over salted. To the point we didn't want to finish everything. Deserts are awesome but get a crem Brule to go! Chef refused. Also Alice is our new adopted kid and waitress we have her back ten fold! She's amazing!!!!!
Food just wasn't that great. Didn't measure up to what I read about it. I expected more of a local vibe. Beautiful place though.
Cute little spot. We went on a live music night and the guy playing was great. The food was really good as well. Would for sure go back
Outstanding service. Staff was very friendly great suggestions. The trout and Brussel sprouts were delicious.
We went for valentines dinner. We ended up ordering off the main menu and everything was excellent! Even better than the food, was the ambiance! We loved it and will definitely be back.

Overall we had a good experience. I come to stay at the lodge often, as does my family, and this time We were there to celebrate a birthday for dinner and hopefully stay. Our server was phenomenal, she was so polite and friendly and accurate, and prompt, and did it all with a smile. We did at first have to ask her which drink menu was correct because we had different menus on the table initially but we got that fixed. And then I did feel like my burger was on the bland side of things but aside from this we had a good time.
I eat here often. Consistent food and service. The ambiance is terrific. Sound level is perfect for background noise and last night was a wonderful music program.
We had the Thanksgiving Buffet there and it was wonderful! It was the first time my family and I went out to eat for Thanksgiving and it was so good that I think it's our new tradition.

Food was not that good, loud guitar player...very distracting. The waitress was ok, not super attentive. I think I will skip this place for awhile

We made a reservation for three, my son, myself and my 4 year old granddaughter, to celebrate my son’s birthday. We were seated promptly, however things went downhill fast. It was not very busy in our section. After around 10 minutes, our server took our drink orders. The arrived around 15 minutes later. I told her that it was my son’s birthday. I ordered a huckleberry lemon drop, and for it being a specialty drink that cost $14.00, I was looking forward and anticipating a nice chilled cocktail. It took around 15 minutes for the drinks to arrive. My drink was tepid and tasted like sugar water. Very disappointing. I sent it back and just opted for a non alcoholic beverage. A short time later our server took our orders, my son got braised short ribs, I ordered the pasta and my granddaughter ordered the pizza from kids menu. After around 20-25 minutes later our food arrived. The pizza was barely warm, to where the cheese was a little hardened, my son’s braised ribs were bland and didn’t have much flavor. My pasta dish was pretty good and flavorful- I was happy with my order. Once we finished our dinner, it took a really long time for our server to get back to our table to see if we wanted dessert (however I did tell her it was a birthday). She did come to clear the plates, and I asked her about the birthday and what they had to offer. She finally brought over the dessert menus, and we decided on vanilla ice cream. She took the order and then brought three spoons to our table, and we were happy that we were going to celebrate and my granddaughter was really looking forward it. The next thing we knew, the server began waiting on other tables, that weren’t even hers, there were multiple servers. And we were all really perplexed, and kind of taken aback. At least another 5-10 minutes went by and the hostess walked by and would see the look of disappointment at our table and asked if everything was okay. I told her “we are just waiting on our ice cream for this birthday celebration” and she said something like she would take care of or look into it. Another 5-10 minutes go by, our server is still tending to other tables. I finally told my son that if she walked by one more time without acknowledging us again, I was done waiting. Sure enough, she walked by, not a word and ignored us. As she was walking back towards the kitchen I presume, I told her to forget the ice cream and to please bring the check. Even my 4 year old granddaughter knew this was messed up, she wanted to have ice cream and sing happy birthday to her daddy. And sensed the rudeness of it all. Once I asked for the check the server brought it right over, with the card reader. I was planning to pay the tip in cash, which I had in my hand. Once she saw that I didn’t include the tip on my card, she very rudely assumed I wasn’t going to tip her, and made a very snarky remark and rude thank you.and she took off. was really quite stunned and wasn’t sure what just really happened. I was about to leave the cash on the table but then it just hit me that this whole experience was not right. Then I just decided to leave because not once was there any apology for running behind or consideration that this was a birthday celebration or that we had a 4 year old - zero effort to make this an experience to remember. My son had been here several times in the past, and was always pleased with everything. Just disappointing all the way around.
