“This is our 4th trip to Akumal and this is our favorite breakfast spot. The owner is quite friendly sly and the food is fantastic. The best spicy pick. I personally love the Huevos Rancheros, I mis it up by adding bacon or chorizo. The chilaquiles is spot on and this trip we tried a Chile rellono ??“

“This place has consistently been great for 20 years. Cute hole in the wall (literally), friendly staff, great prices, large portions, and some of the best mole chicken enchiladas ever. Plus their pico has habanero without being overly-spicy...yum. Perfect place to just chill out and eat a quick lunch with zero hassle.“

We had Camaron Quesadillas, Cameron a la Diabla, Camaron al Ajillo, and 2 more plates of Camaron Quesadillas, and were surprised at how inexpensive our meals were. “They advertise delivery so I tried calling two separate phone numbers I found for this subway, multiple times. I never got an answer but I wanted subway so I went in person to get the food and it was worth it. The pollo parmesano was to die for, just make sure to ask for extra sauce as they basically only drip it on. Typical subway prices. I paid about $350 peso for one small sandwich, one large sandwhich and some cookies.“
