“This was the first place we tried when we got to Mexico tonight and let’s just say WOW! These tacos are amazing. They have set the bar very high for the rest of our trip. Honestly wanted to hug the cook after it was that good. We had the Chicken and pulled pork tacos. Possibly the best meal we have had in our travels to different places.“

“This is the best place to get barbacoa in Mexico City. The food is truly authentic (the owner and many of the employees are from Tulancingo, Hidalgo) and the prices are very reasonable. The pulque “curado” mixed with guayaba or other fruits in a frappe style was excellent as a drink and the traditional consomé was incredible, just like the kind you find in rural areas of Mexico. There were special touches like the blue corn tortillas, homemade salsas and papalo, a green, something like cilantro, which is used as a condiment for tacos. For dessert, we chose to have Mexican coconut candy. The valet and servers were very friendly and made us feel welcome.“

“I've been to many Carl's Jr in the US, and can easily say they are always rundown. But Carl's Jr. Tulum was amazing. The kitchen is clean, and the service is fast. But most importantly the food is prepared and comes out looking like the picture or commercial. Not like most fast food places where the food is dilapidated.
