Was fantastic! Spent time in Cancun, and decided to visit Market 23 for some authentic Mexican food and shopping amongst the local culture. Great prices, service, and food!

I can here for breakfast and it was amazing. I had a tostada with eggs topped with green and red salsa, ham and cheese. The plantains were delicious. Now the surrounding places are a little sketchy but it is a market area. Our waiter was very nice and explained everything on the menu. They are also reasonably priced

A place where they offer you panuchos, salbutes, empanadas, cakes, soft drinks, water, smoothies at prices according to the place, there is not much space for the tables but that's fine, the attention is very friendly but slow to deliver food for everything others good.

If you are a little bit bi-lingual and want an authentic Cancun dining experience, this place it perfect. The waitress was very accommodating and helpful to us. (My spanish is not very good) After we decided on the food we wanted to try, Cochinita (pork), Carne Asada (beef), & Pollo Asado (chicken), all Tortas (on a bun), we decided to try Queso Oaxaca (quesadilla) for an appetizer. The Quesadilla with Oaxaca cheese was awesome. (you gotta try this mexican cheese) The Tortas were all very flavorful, each with their very own wonderful aroma and taste. Don't miss a chance to try something new at this hidden jewel.
