Antojitos y Tortas Veracruz

It was like traveling back in time to an inn in Veracruz when I was a child. The eggs are warm like when I was a child!! The empanadas are very delicious.

The sauce on the picadita is a little too salty, but hey, at my ranch they make it just as salty ?.
I recommend it.

Years of knowing the place.
Fonda located on López Portillo Avenue in front of Mega Soriana, near Kabah Avenue. Place without parking, you have to struggle to find one, advice, park on the other side of Av Portillo by the McDonald's or in the parking lot of the mega Soriana there is one. DIRECT pedestrian crossing to the restaurant.
The place is a little dark, it needs urgent remodeling and cleaning, inside and outside!!!...I don't know the bathrooms but I imagine...the chairs and tables have already given what they could in so many years of service, there are many tables although the place is almost always full. Full weekends
Plastic tablecloths (the material is not criticized but) I DO CRITICIZE THAT THEY ARE VERY VERY DIRTY and the waitresses do not clean, I had to ask them to clean again. "URGENT Operation CLEANUP."

The slab is already necessary, WHAT DO I SAY necessary but URGENT to buy a new one, stained rates, it is urgent that they invest in that, I don't want to see the kitchen (which is what we cannot see in detail).
THE GOOD
Menu:
The menu is simple but sufficient, Veracruz style, chopped, gorditas, empanadas, eggs, cecina, flautas, pozole, Menudo, etc. Etc.
Meal:
I ordered chopped and fat as I normally do. LIKE PREVIOUS VISITS.... Excellent preparation and flavor, I think they are the ones I like the most IN CANCUN (I clarify).
The small pozole is well served and has good flavor. The tamale is very delicious and is made at home (they normally grind the corn there and prepare it in sight).
As for the food, there are no complaints, very rich, good flavor.

The coffee is not bad, it is the worst I have been served in Cancun, it is small and not cheap.

Service:
Very bad, the waitresses lack preparation (with the exception of other times) they do things on a whim, they forget, they have no vocation for service and cleanliness, be careful with that.

Account:
The bill is passable although prices have already been rising. They don't give you details of the account but only a total so you have to check it since they only give you a piece of paper. If you ask they get upset.

I hope the owners get their act together and improve what can be improved, they already have clients, they just have to be taken care of.
