Between Fires Cancun

This place is a complete rip off. The Crab legs were ok but anyone can make Crab legs. My 8/12 yr old daughters shared the tomahawk steak with my husband and we had a side of Mac, which was not good, and a side of mashed potatoes that were ok. They were out of the onion soup I requested. We each had a drink, and our bill was $1000 USD. I was beyond irritated bc we go out to eat ALL THE TIME at high end restaurants in Chicago, and our bill for the 4 of us has NEVER been even over $500. And that's when we're drinking. I don't even eat meat. I suppose they charge so much for making it beside our table, which was cool, but not for 1k. I asked if the tip was included when the check came bc we didn't even all get meals. They said it wasnt. 2 Crab legs, and the steak, 2 sides, 2 drinks=$1000. Completely ubsurd. The service was fine bc it was Friday night at 7pm, and there wasn't 1 other person dining in there the whole time we were there. Obviously everyone was smarter than us bc that's CRAZY for 2 adults and 2 kids. Wouldn't recommend anyone eat here, unless they enjoy blowing money. And usually that's one thing I don't mind spending on but this was completely unreasonable

Everything was so good! We love raw meats but we also think to they taste good they have to know how to prepare them, and here everything was amazing!The service was really good, all the workers are so kind and friendly, they take of you all the time.The atmosphere of the place it’s so cool, the decoración en everything around makes it feel like a romantic and cozy place.We would definitely go back.

It had never taken so long for the food to be served to me, there were several of us, we had a reservation and yet it seemed that they were not prepared. Since the drinks took a while, they were friendly but I think there are problems in their service and kitchen. The food tasted good, but for what it costs, you expect everything to be excellent and this was not the case.

Terrible service at a New Year's event, they charge in advance and it's 1:30 am and they haven't served me dinner ?

On our first visit in December, the service was iffy, but they were so nice and the food was better than some other places and they gave us a special dessert and extra drinks to toast our birthdays. We foolishly trusted them and even came back another night a few days later. That night, the service was so bad they left us sitting multiple times for over 20 minutes with no water, empty dishes, no offer of new drinks, etc. even though we were the only customers and they had five staff there! They brought us food that was STILL FROZEN and never even checked back. At one point I couldn't even find anyone to ask for the check as they were ALL in the back for over half an hour. At the end, we said we were only giving a 10% tip. THE GIRL ADDED 20% for herself anyway!! When I did the math and complained, I had to get the manager over, who pretended to cancel the transaction then charged us the EXACT SAME AMOUNT. I made them actually cancel it, and then told them there was NO tip. When we got home and looked at the original meal charge (we ordered the exact same thing both times as they didn't have half of what was on their menu), we saw that they had charged us one and half times as much for our first meal, so they had clearly charged for the "free" birthday "gifts."

Very beautiful place, with a panoramic view of the Nichupté lagoon, it offers a romantic atmosphere, with instrumental music, the cuts of meat and its roast are of exceptional quality and flavor. They have a variety of wines to accompany the food, effective and efficient service.

The atmosphere really good, and the ambience but out of the three dishes I’ve asked for, none of them were available; which is unbelievable when they advertised to have live music so you should make sure you have everything you offer to be able to host customers specially on Friday night.Terrible. Bad bad choice.

This restaurant was recommended to us and we were very disappointed. The hostess was very nice and asked us where we would like to sit. Once we were seated the problems began. The waiter didn’t know if they had a drink menu or not. Our flat water came in 2 different brand bottles. Seems strange. About 5 minutes after we ordered the waiter came and told us that they did not have either of the appetizers we ordered. 5 minutes after that he came and told us he didn’t have 2 of the 3 entrees we ordered. We decided to pay for our drinks and leave. No apologies were offered. They seemed to be smiling about their failures. We won’t be back. Not sure where the great reviews came from but guessing they’re from locals or friends.

Not really …. Ruth Chris’s Meat quality was a bit better albeit more expensive. Drinks were not very good and far too expensive. They see foreigners as cash cows but not everyone is as stupid as their staff. Believe me. The waiters were kind of pushy and unprofessional as everybody in Cancun Zona Hotelera. The cuts are too expensive. And your 15 to 20% tip expectation was countered by my tip of 0%. I will never ever come back to this restaurant.My goodness, places like these make you hate the whole city.

Ordered Delmonico steak ? the flavor was so juicy ?. The drinks omg I ordered frutos rojos súper damn good ?. I got tipsy on first . Very fancy and clean place must try !
