Well, we believed the reviewers here and on Trip Advisor, and went to Careyes for dinner last night. As non-hotel guests we had to pay before we even entered the restaurant. That’s fine because it is within an all inclusive hotel. We were four of us, and ordered different dishes from the menu to find out what made so many people write such glowing reviews. At the end of the dinner this is what we all agreed to regarding our experience: the kitchen tried too hard on presentation (i.e. nice looking plates) but failed miserably on producing good tasting dishes. I’m not going to give details of what we ordered and what was wrong with them; they were all so bad. I had promised myself, after few unpleasant experiences in the past, to never believe the TA ratings when choosing a restaurant; shame on me, I “ignored” my own promise. To be fair, the service was excellent, the ambient was pleasant. The included wines, a Spanish Chardonnay and a Chilean Sauvignon blanc were both acceptable. Your food tastes will surely be different and you may totally disagree with me. Therefore I’m not suggesting one way or another if it’s worth going to Careyes. We’re not.

Had a great experience from the moment I walked in the door to the moment I left. Everyone was so kind and informative for the menu. Drinks were tasty and so was the food. Gabriel, Alejandro, Uriel and Wilbert took care of me. What a great team. I also celebrated my birthday and they surprised me with a dessert. Thank you so much team Careyes.

Food was excellent! Gabriel was our server and did a wonderful job! We wished we would've eaten here more than once during our vacation.

Just be warned, they will not sit you in dress shorts. But jeans with boots is fine. The dress code is a bit bizarre, the only real rule is that men wear long pants which unfortunately we did not pack for a beach vacation. They did sit us in golf attire but made quite the fuss about my husband’s attire being unacceptable. He is a surgeon and knows how to dress but could only work with what was in the suitcase on a beachy vacation. Food was very nice though. I’m glad we succeed in convincing them to serve riff raff like us after all.

Best service and very good good food. Waiter was very friendly and ensured we were satisfied with our experience.

Braulio was our waiter and we had impeccable service and food quality. We had a wonderful experience and saw a crocodile on our way out

Everything is super beautiful, as constructive criticism I would suggest that you leave a little time between dishes, since the service rushes so that you finish quickly. and that the drinks include a wine.

My restaurant experience was horrible. The staff are arrogant and not at the level of the restaurant considered one of the "best in Cancun".

Un restaurante , lindo con un gran servicio y sus alimentos con muy buen sabor, postres deliciosos . Se encuentra dentro del hotel oasis Hotel & resort. Te recomiendo adquirir la pulsera negra en la que incluye entrada a todos sus restaurantes y hagas tus reservas de restaurantes y shows con anticipación, las puedes hacer todas en el mismo momento.
