Poor service if you are Mexican, forget that they serve you if they have tables with foreigners near you

The food is very good, if you are local or from Mexico you will realize that. We ordered some deviled shrimp that look more like the Mexican one and when we commented on it they just didn't say that we should try them and that's it. I'm sure they can find better places, the bill is not around $150 per person, so take that into consideration.

Very good service and food, the only bad thing is that they don't have enough air and it feels very hot!

Local atmosphere and delicious homemade food, but beware of the fact that they inflate the bill senselessly because they are foreigners and then ask you for a tip. It has left a bad taste in our mouths.

The place and the food are very good, but you have to keep track of what you order and what it costs because they inflate the bill a lot. They deceive. Edited: Replying to the owner, I am talking about the Cocina La Chaya restaurant that is inside Mercado 28 and I include a photo so that it is clear.

Delicious food, with good seasoning and price. A very familiar place; enchiladas, chilaquiles and pancakes are my favorites. Very good attention, highly recommended!!

After my sister's civil wedding we went to breakfast with my family in La Chaya, the service was excellent, we ate hotcakes, chilaquiles, Motuleños eggs, fruit and delicious coffee. It is always a guarantee to eat at this place.

We were shopping at this market and stopped to have lunch here. The food was average not the freshness we expected. I ordered shrimp to eat and they brought other kind of shrimp. They charged me for that, apologized for the mistake but didn’t change it. At the end they overcharged me a fried fish and a margarita that didn’t have liquor $380 . Be careful because they change the prices and overcharged you most if you are American. Really bad experience here. In the other hand the market has really good crafts and good prices if you look around. Some are more expensive than others. You have to look around and check prices before you buy.

The food was delicious and the service was better than other food places.

Kid-friendliness: For children there are hot cakes, roast chicken, among others.
