Fontina Cancún became my go-to favorite restaurant at the foot of our hotel. They serve excellent lunch and dinner at an afordable price. I loved the chicken panini and pizzas. They serve good coffee with cream here, too.The prices were better here than at the franchise restaurant next door.Janessa and Victor were our friendly waiters in the mornings and evenings. Janessa even helped us arrange a lyft back to the airport on the last day of our stay.Thank you for the wonderful experience!!

Very fine and the waiter Viktor was very nice. The restaurant next door is not fine. Pizzeria Fontina is really recommended. We ate 5 times and each time it was very good.

So glad we found this place. It was excellent and not overly crowded. We ordered caesar salads, pepperoni and veggie pizza. We loved the thin crust. My daughter had Chichen Alfredo which was good as well. Our server was attentive and friendly. Highly recommend!

Our waiter was Victor. The service was amazing and he was very nice and enthusiastic. 15/10 review overall. The pizza was amazing and so much better than the food we had on the Grand Oasis Sens Resort.

See Victor! He’ll treat you like a king. This restaurant has authentic Italian food that tasted great after a day on the beach. Excellent bar, we had tasty margaritas on the rocks. Prices were reasonable. Service was excellent (again, see Victor!) Atmosphere was pleasant, music was wonderful but not so loud we couldn’t hear each other. Tables were clean, food was appropriate temperature and portion size was ample. Going back on our next trip to Cancun.
- Our table was the only table in that empty restaurant when we came in. The menu has limited choices. We ordered 5 items and 2 were unavailable. We ended up just ordering 3 available items as there were literally no alternatives - Although the restaurant was indoor with AC, there were lots of mosquitoes and the whole time we got bitten alot - The cabonara was bland with peanuts of bacon and no cheese/cream flavor at all. The buffalo chicken wings only has salty flavor - We ordered a clericot and there were only a few bits of apple which you can hardly see. No red wine at all, just a glass of sugary red water - The bill came and they hand-wrote a 15% tip on top of our bill. We came from Canada which has tipping culture, but this is the first time we saw tips being decided and added without even asking the customers first - We explained to the waiter that we were not happy with the service and the fact that they automatically charged 15% tip and we asked for the tip to be removed. The waiter became rude and raised his voice and said something along the line that 'This is Mexico so you have to pay the tip'. We were firm that we were not paying the tip and the waiter eventually agreed to take it off. - We paid them by cash and were supposed to get 100 MXN as changes. The owner took our cash and came back after 5 minutes and gave us 80 MXN by coins (mostly 1 peso, 2 peso) and 20 MXN by note. We told him we were not happy with his petty act and he scoffed at us

This restaurant was amazing. We ordered a four cheese pizza with fries. AMAZING!!!! This pizza definitely beat out a lot of franchise pizza places in FL. Victor was our host and he was so kind. Next time I’m in Cancun I will definitely be coming back.

At first we were on the fence about going here but there was nothing else open around our hotel in the early hours for breakfast. We nearly walked out because we saw a limited menu and modest pricing. But we decided to have a quick breakfast based on price, not expecting much. Then, we were very pleasantly surprised! I guess they have less options on their menu because they clearly knock out the ones that are on it. The coffee tastes fresh and delicious. Our eggs where tailored to our specifications and received our high praise. The hot sauce offered to us was amazing, but be aware that is it HOT. We almost want to return just to have it again. We noticed that the bread from the basket are biscuits with butter and that was a an excellent way to go the extra mile for clientele. The server seemed to be managment or owner. His level of service was five star. There is nothing we can give constructive criticism on, other than keep it going exactly like that. We will definitely return to try their evening menu
