Does the job. Actually it was a nice surprise for an ibis hotel. The rooms are almost the same all over the world but when you arrive at 11 PM I did not want to take a really expensive hotel so this one was nice. I only stayed two days before changing to an oceanfront but not much to complain. My first room had a non working a/c reception staff was very friendly and we changed the room. The view over to the Laguna was ok. They actually have a Walmart express within the building which is very very helpful.

We would like to thank Madame A. TREVINO for very professional service and management of our booking since the booking agent appeared to very unprofessional. Thank you so much for fixing up an awesome stay in ibis cancun.

It is not a luxury hotel but has all the basic amenities. It is clean and staff are good! We had the package with breakfast when I booked through Accor membership. The breakfast though not a huge spread was tasty and pretty good. We were upgraded to a lagoon view room even though we didn’t book that (nice touch!). The best part here was the location. Everything was walkable and just a bus ride away. All the buses connecting different parts of Cancun from Las Americas. The walmart express is just beside. I will recommend this hotel if you looking to stay and explore downtown Cancun!

We stayed at this hotel on arrival in Cancun before travelling to our resort in Tulum the next day. The venue is in the central business district of Cancun (it is not a beach hotel) and for our purposes, was fine. We had a clean functional room at a good price with a basic but pleasant breakfast included - it was as expected for the money and I have no complaints

First time staying at this property. I must say I was surprised how close was to different places. First, at front desk employees were friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Employees cleaning the rooms as always working hard and always willing to help. Room was clean and did not have any problems. Close to hotel you can walk to Plaza de las Americas and opposite way go to Costco. Past la Plaza there is a view of lagoon where you can run/ walk and get some exercise early in the morning. At lobby you can talk to a lady about any tours. They have tons of places to go. If you want to go into town, you can get a taxi which is more expensive. If you feel adventurous, you can take a local bus which it would cost 10 pesos vs 300 in taxi. Another way is UBER which I took many times. Overall, a great experience being at this hotel. I walked and run around this property so I learned about restaurants and things to see and do, e-mail me for any questions. Otherwise, enjoy your time in beau Cancún.

Dirty and old!!! Do not stay here! it is our first night and it is extremely disappointing already. Dirty washrooms, mirrors, bed mattress and floors! Mold in the ridiculously small shower!!! We even found a feet deodorant inside the mini fridge! DISGUSTING! The room smells bad in general. There is barely any Hand soap in the washroom. Noisy AC. Old and slow elevators! False advertisement the rooms are so so so small nothing like the expedia pictures where we did our booking. They advertise rooms with a view the view is trough a tiny dirty window….So sad to finally have vacations in Mexico and finding our stay in this disgusting conditions.

I stayed in this hotel only for a night as our flight arrived after midnight and next day we travelled to Valladolid. I just needed a place for the night. The location and the 24 hours check in was great. I stayed many times in Ibis Hotels and I was always satisfied, but this hotel was way lower quality than the other Ibis Hotels. The room was a bit smelly (windows cannot be opened) and the bathroom was not properly cleaned. However after 15 hours travelling I did not wanted complain and ask for a new room. The reception was all time busy. The breakfast was a buffet at least, the variety was good but the food quality low.

I enjoyed a very nice two week stay at the Ibis hotel, Cancun. My room was comfortable and nicely sized, the bathroom was clean and functional with a good supply of hot water, the Wifi worked very well, there was a good buffet breakfast to start my day, and the staff were friendly and professional. In the same building as the hotel there is a small supermarket, a pattisserie, and the Pepe Pirrana bar, just across the busy main road there is a large shopping centre "Centro Commercial Americas". A 15 minute walk due east from the hotel takes you to the bayfront, passing through a coastal wilderness populated by giant lizards.

We have travelled all over the world and have been staying at Ibis in various locations. This is the first time in all our travels we did not get any towels!! ANYWHERE!! The hotel phone does not work And I went 4 times to the lobby to ask for towels then to finally be told at 11:30 pm that we will Not get any towels till 9:00 the next morning! Imagine only having a bath mat and nothing else to wash and dry With. That’s like not having toilet paper!! We did not get towels At 9:00’the next morning. We were also told That there were 10 rooms Who did not have towels! I hope those other guests also write a review as this is not acceptable! When we checked out I informed them they will be getting a bad review

Good for very short stay. Room is very small. Doors close loudly, especially at night they can give you a heart attack. Half hour after check in I got walked in by housekeeping and then a couple that was given the same room. Supermarket downstairs is very limited. Pastry shop next door is good. There is a bridge to the mall, but still have to cross streets with no stoplights. Hot water is only lukewarm late in the evening. AC is very loud. Not in touristy area.
