Love this place, but they lied to me and wasted my time. They close at 530 according to Google so I left asap and got there at 455. All I wanted was a frappe because I really like the way they do them there, but when I walked in there was only one other couple sitting down and the staff was staring at me while I spoke with the host. He was nice at first as if he was going to seat me, but when he went to inquire about the English menu from another worker he proceeded to tell me they closed at 5. I said no, you close at 530, and all he did was apologize about how they can't serve me right now. I asked if they could just make me a small frappe and that I knew what I wanted to save time and try to accommodate them (even though they shouls be accommodating the customer, me), and they still said no.
I took time out of my precious day to come there within a reasonable time, and now I've wasted 30minutes of MY time because YOU guys wanna go home early. Piss-poor service and bad call, especially when you try to lie to a customer because you're lazy. Service is everything guys, don't cut corners out of laziness. Management, please get onto your staff about staying open for all of your operating hours so you don't lose anymore customers. If you get lucky and nobody comes in, you can go home with an easy close, but the rule is that if someone comes in before you close shop, you need to serve them. If it was 5 or 10minutes until close, I could understand. But closing 35min early and turning customers away with a full staff? No bueno.
I went alone to have breakfast and it was incredible!! From the excellent service of the local people and the delicious food. I recommend it if you come to Cancun!
