I visited Isla Contoy hoping for a simple glass of orange juice for my baby, expecting the accommodating service as they serve drinks poolside. Unfortunately, I was met with an inflexible policy requiring us to be at a table to be served, which was quite inconvenient and seemed to lack common sense. It was disappointing, especially since we were not looking for a full dining experience, just a small accommodation for my child.

A beautiful quiet and private place

Hands down my favorite restaurant at the Grand Fiesta. This restaurant has perfect views - it's the most ideal spot for lunch. The food is also delicious; especially if you're a fan of seafood. My favorite was the fried whole fish with garlic sauce. I didn't know what to expect and it can be daunting seeing a whole fish on your plate but it was the freshest most delicious fish I've had. The ceviche is fresh and the drinks taste great as well (try the Mango Tango). There are plenty of safe options for kids as well. The service is excellent. You won't be disappointed.
Awesome seafood - loved the fried fish and blackened tuna. The coffee crusted pork was also sensational.
