$$ EXPENSIVE $$
Hey! Here is a quick review of our experience at Johnny Rockets, which is located inside terminal 3 of the Cancun Airport.
The service was great. We actually got a table and immediately a waiter showed up. He cleaned the table for us and efficiently took our order. He was very attentive despite a large number of tables he was servicing.
Burgers, fries, onion rings and shakes were decent. Think old school diner food when eating here.
The people behind the counter were also working hard.
Unfortunately, they price gouge you like no one I have ever seen before which is why I am giving this spot ONE STAR. I ended up dropping $106+tip on four single burgers, one with onion rings/fries and three with fries and three milk shakes.
I don't mind paying extra at places like airports or sports venues but this is beyond extra, especially when you hear other tourists saying how ridiculously expensive this spot is.

Lettuce onion and tomatoes were fresh but buns were super soggy and the patties tasted like soggy toilet paper. Gross had to throw it away $25 USD. 2nd experience with this brand and will not be eating there again.

Extremely rude female that appeared to be a manager checking me out. She was unpleasant and unfriendly from the second I walked up. I thought I ordered a diet Dr Pepper. I did not realize they only have Diet Pepsi. When I asked to switch she made a big deal about it and was muttering in Spanish to her coworker. I paid $21 USD one meal that wasn’t very good and for rude service. Also waited over 20 minutes for my food which I understand because it was busy. But to wait so long and be treated so rudely was unacceptable.

In Terminal 4 in Cancun. It can be extremely busy at this location. The restaurant has an employee who will give you a menu at a table if you sit near that restaurant. They will also wait on you. Staff are friendly. There’s a wait for food, they give you a number when you order but with the crowd it can be hard to hear. The restaurant is on the right after Security Screening. The meal in the photos was $35US. April 6 2024

Parking: This is in the airport after you go through Security Screening

Much, much too expensive for what it is... the burgers are not exceptional and neither are the fries.
I asked for water and without asking the young waiter charged me the most expensive bottle of Evian of course at 149 pesos!!!! While there was a bottle of mineral water for 72 pesos available. We only get the bill after paying... I thought it was very dishonest of him not to have asked which one I wanted, and I went to tell him.
Go on your way…

I suggest that you eat before going to the airport. We bought an overpriced burger and fries for my son, which tasted okay, but took 25 minutes to make. Plenty of potential here if they lowered their prices, and focused on a smaller menu with better service.

Overpriced garbage for breakfast. About 25 US per person for cold tots and fries, watered down coffee. Long wait for food. No sense of urgency. Eat somewhere else.

Fast food restaurant. The staff didn't seem very motivated, but the chicken breast sandwich with lettuce and tomato was okay. The price for the chicken burger, fries and a Pepsi was rather expensive at around EUR 17 (MXN 318).

The smoke burger is pretty good but the price... They're crazy, 249mxn WITHOUT a drink, which is worth 69mxn if it's Pepsi. Something has to change.

Fast and friendly service. I like the ketchup in the shape of a smile ? The fries, however, I would like more golden.

$15 for one burger is too much- but that is not necessarily the issue as its expected at an airport. I don't usually eat burgers, but I'm not too picky and I was curious about Johnny Rockets. I am not sure this is a Johnny Rocket issue or this location, but the meat was literally tasteless. I didn't finish and my sister said it was not worth eating despite she was hungry. Friendly service.
