Restaurant is kinda small and not look ”attractive” from outside, but don’t let that fool you. Food was absolutely delicious! We had shrimp/fish tacos and tuna sashimi. We went here twice because it was so good!

We were sick of our all-inclusive resort food and this was about a 10-minute walk so we tried it out. Best fish tacos and the guac was amazing! recommend 10 out of 10!

First time in Cancun. The food was phenomenal, we ordered the coconut shrimp a second time. The fried fish had a great taste and was crisp. The salad was also light and refreshing. I highly recommend this location if you’re visiting and want a good meal

This was an amazing quick stop before we left Cancún. Better food than Taboo and casual. We had the coconut shrimp and the fish and shrimp ceviche. I had to get some more to go when I left. Made my whole day.

La Bamba was an Excellent ultra-casual restaurant serving seafood & other foods. We had the fish ceviche? spicy tuna tostada? guacamole?and the best fresh fish sticks and fries I’ve ever had ? Service pleasant & quick…I’ll be back *No extra onions needed on the ceviche.

Not sure about the ex Mex but this restaurant hit the spot. A hole in the wall type establishment that delivered on the food experience. The seafood tower was raved about and the shrimp with salad really hit the spot. What was really pleasant were the accompanying cucumber vinaigrette on both the salad and seafood tower. I love to look at what other people were eating and everything, and I mean everything, looked delicious. A must go for friends

We found this place on Google map. The signage was not great but we were able to find it after waking by it first time. The servers were friendly and courteous. The chips were the best! The taco were fantastic as well. The ceviche were very tasty. Definitely will come back again.

Conveniently located in the cancun hotel zone . This place easily has the best tacos in mexico !! Also they’re pizza is one of the best! Awesome food and great service ! This is one of Cancuns secret spots ! Check them out you will not be disappointed !!

We tried seafood tower, ceviche, fried fish, fish and chips, fish tacos, seafood pizza, arguachille, etc. they are all very tasty and super fresh. Kids love the seafood pizza! It’s tiny and has limited tables. People are very nice.We’ll be back!

I had been staying in one of those big 'ol resort hotels and was craving something different. Nothing fancy, just solid food that felt real. While cruising TripAdvisor, I found La Bamba; wow, was I glad that I did!!! The store ain't much to look at; blink and you will miss it. It is in a strip mall near the center of the hotel district. There are a few tables inside and about double that number outside in front. The staff was super attentive give and helpful. They seemed to enjoy what they were doing and thought really highly of the food.... As they should!!! It was awesome. The dishes were mostly seafood and it was all fantastic. Shrimp tostadas? Check. Spicy tuna tostadas? Yes please! Fish taco? Delicious! Shrimp tacos? Yum city! Coconut shrimp? BANGIN'! I'd eat it all again. In fact, I will probably will. I think I am going back tonight!
Fun little casual place. We sat indoors to cool off (limited seating in, but more out front). The seafood tower and tuna steak were delicious, presentation was attractive, massive pina colada was dangerously tasty. Servers were friendly, attentive, and able to answer questions. Price was quite fair for what we got. Wish we had time to go back!

We came here on our last night in Mexico and wanted one last fish meal before leaving and this place delivered the perfect setting. Food was really good value and delicious, and the staff were super friendly. Highly recommend! The Mixed Ceviche is in the photo, 10/10!

The shrimp tortas I gried were so full of flavour that I immedistely ordered a second plate after two bites. I also had coconut shrimp ehich I was sure I couldn't finish but the taste was so good that I cleaned it. Many people were just walking by not recognising what a gem of place this is! Highly recommend

Delicious sashimi or an amazing pizza, we had both. Friendly servers with great recommendations. The House pizza, half pesto, half tomato sauce. Tostada spicey tuna. Yum!

Ordered scrimp tacos as take away, opened the box and there was literally two fried scrimps/taco and nothing else. There was a bit pico de gallo on the side, but not enough for three tacos. Ordered tacos the place nearby before and got way better ones..
