La Buena Barra (La Buena Barra Mexican Steakhouse I Cancún)

Great patio for watching the sunset and enjoying the lights across the lagoon. Very well designed and discreet lighting over the tables. The wagyu burger and the seabags are amazing.

No servía el aire acondicionando, en el baño no había jabón. El chile en Nogada lo sirvieron caliente y la Nogada no era Nogada, se veía que estaba hecho con nuez pecana, por el sabor, el color y estaba súper súper dulce. El resto de la comida muy bien y la atención de meseros muy buena. El gerente o chef no se acercaron para revisar el tema del chile en Nogada ni la deficiencia de los servicios como falta de aire y estado de los baños .

Fui a celebrar el cumpleaños de mi esposa, pregunté la hora de cierre y me dijeron que hasta que el último cliente salga, a las 11 pm pido unas bebidas y el mesero va y vuelve y me informa que la barra está cerrada, que así le informo si capitán, reclamo el hecho y pido la cuenta, de inmediato viene el capitán y me dice que me darán las bebidas pero yo al ver que están desmontando el salón le indico que tal como me informó su mesero no habría bebidas que me dieran la cuenta, aún así mando las bebidas mismas que regrese La cuenta fue de cerca de 400 usd por una celebración especial y derrumbaron la misma

Muy buen servicio comida súper rica atención perfecta el lugar estaba muy lindo solo que reservamos una mesa para cumpleaños pensamos que nos iban adornar la mesa caso que no fue así

It's an interesting restaurant, but our experience was not great. They try to make you order the most expensive items, without letting you see the menu and try to find something more reasonable. The guy showing us the meat cuts ( which we didn't request ) got upset when we didn't order any of them.

This is a wonderful restaurant elegant ambiance, staff super friendly and very attentive thank you to Jem and Jesus for making my birthday so special? The food was delicious everything including the drinks and dessert was amazing!
The presentation of the food was spectacular. And The View from the patio was amazing

I had a day without many people (I don't know why it was a weekend). The music is very boring. With this heat I recommend you go inside because on the terrace you will die from the horrible heat. The food more or less is not wow. High prices, service is good.
I think there are better places to eat and have a better time than this place.

We chose this place to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary while on vacation in Cancun. Everything was fabulous, especially Marco and David, our servers. The steak on the salt slab was delicious as was everything else.

Had a lovely dining experience at Buena Barra in July 2024. The staff, particularly, Karen and Gerry, were attentive, service was timely, food was good, ambiance was nice, and prices were reasonable. We decided to sit inside but probably could've sat outside as it was a bit warm inside. In addition, they helped us celebrate our anniversary by surprising us with a Happy Anniversary sign, sparklers, and cupcake (and song). It was cute and we are appreciative. Great experience and it's in walking distance from quite a few resorts.

I recently visited La Buena Barra while traveling and decided to treat myself to a birthday meal here. The service was excellent—I felt like a top priority the entire time. The staff was attentive and made my birthday celebration special.

The food was pretty good overall. I particularly enjoyed the variety of sauces that were brought to the table, which added a unique touch to the meal. The steak was well-prepared and flavorful, making it a highlight of my dining experience.

However, I did have a couple of minor complaints. The mashed potatoes weren't hot, and the corn wasn't good at all. Despite these small issues, the overall experience was positive, especially with the special birthday treatment.

Overall, La Buena Barra provided a good dining experience, and I would recommend it for its excellent service and tasty main dishes.

There is a valet service at the entrance to park your car if necessary.

The setting is pleasant, the decoration neat.
You have an air-conditioned indoor room and an outdoor room with a view of the sea.

The service is impeccable.

The servers are very helpful in offering you things for additional sales.

The cocktails are very beautiful with a lot of visual work, decoration on the outside of the cocktail is out of the ordinary.

In terms of the cuisine, a small disappointment, we expected to have more flavors, the cuisine was slightly greasy.

Even though the decoration of the dishes is careful, there is a lack of indulgence in the dishes with gourmet sauces and accompaniments to match.

In the end we come out with a salty note.

Value for money is not there.

Great restaurant but overvalued in my opinion. Service was a little overwhelming and server was recomending only the most expencive dishes. Food was pretty good. Definetly a good place overall and solid 4. Carpacio was amaizing, octopus is great, tacos - average.
