We had a wonderful week at Cancun! All the GO's and staff were wonderful! The Chief of the Village and his assistant Nate were awesome to get to know. The bar staff were very attentive and the week we were there 9/8-9/15 had very few GM's. There was no lines anywhere. The highlight was rescuing sea turtles one night. We stayed in 3105 and 3107 and both rooms smelled like mildew. The beds and pillows are old and in need of an update, but the room was clean. The AC did not work well and all of our clothes were damp all the time, including the clean ones. Overall the village is awesome and so are the people, it just needs some updates.
Went for a friends birthday girl trip and stayed in Jade. It was absolutely phenomenal! The rooms were beautiful and clean with amazing ocean view rooms. Staff was very friendly and welcoming with customized name signs and a private reception with a detox juice and mimosa waiting :) Even during the “slower season” staff was super engaging and made us all feel like part of the family. Daniel and Eliseo at the pool bar made great drink recommendations with equally delicious cocktails. The F/B manager Sascha went above and beyond for our group and helped organize a special bday fruit platter with bottle of champagne in our room to celebrate! Manuel was also a key player in our amazing stay, he has a permanent smile which is so contagious and is just all around an amazing GO. Thank you to everyone who made our time there a trip to remember. Can’t wait to go back!!
Do not recommend at all. Just experienced issues with booked flight and reschedule (lost a day), problems with room in front of mosquitos infected supposed "lagoon", staff leaves your luggages outside your room unattended for hours, room had issues with A/C and tend to be very humid, door key failed 3 times. Also, when management is asked to fixe issues by changing room they will tell you to pay additional money. On top of all when you ask management to contact you back via email to sum up discussion, they will not do it (even thought they said they will, two times). No thanks. Stay away from Club Med.
Events during the daytime and evening were enjoyable. Staff entertainment was very good. Meals had a very large selection of food and tasty. Good variety of drinks including alcohol. Friendly staff members.
Food and service at the jade was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!! Leonardo was awesome and took care of everything we needed, Sasha and the rest of the culinary crew constantly made amazing food and we’re so lovely to be around. The drink service was fantastic!! If I were just ranking the jade it would be a 5/5 for sure but I have to knock it for the food outside of Jade, Taco Arte and the general buffet had no real Mexican authentic food and were lackluster when compared to Jade
Stay in the Aguamarina location due to the newness of the rooms. The older rooms where a little humid and the stepdowns were not good for smaller children. Overall the staff made us very much at ease ready to help us with our requests.
My family and I came here for 7 days and stayed in the jade area. The staff there were fantastic, Sasha and his crew of waiters were all extremely kind and a pleasure to be around. The resort itself is in a beautiful location. Food was ok, rooms and area were all very humid.
We had a delightful 12-night stay in a spacious Jade suite. The housekeeping service was excellent, and the view from our suite was breathtaking. The staff at Jade provided exceptional service, going above and beyond our expectations. The friendly bar staff even remembered our names and greeted us warmly as we passed by. The aperitif experience was always a celebration, with perfect food and drinks. It was great to see Jose Luis again, and of course, Samarun, who had taken over the Chief function ad interim. All in all, absolutely all the staff at the Jade were very friendly. Although we didn't spend much time at the pool, we thoroughly enjoyed the serene beach next to Taco Arte. We'd like to extend a big thank you to Charlotte and Chris, the 2 fitness instructors, with whom we spent hours training. You both provided high-quality and challenging classes. MERCI BEAUCOUP. We had the pleasure to meet the lovely Jayne, the yoga teacher, and spent a few quite funny evenings with her. She might be very zen, but in the evening, she goes crazy with the crazy signs : ) The food was great at the buffet and very well maintained. However, it was very loud. They have a kid-only section. It would be great to see an adult-only section. During the second week, they closed a section of the restaurant. Especially in the evening, the whole club had to squeeze into the remaining open sections. It was quite chaotic, and it didn't make sense, but maybe they had a staffing issue. Speaking about the staff, it must be said that every staff member at the restaurant was very friendly. Alternatively, if you want a more private experience, you may go to the Bodega, but you have to buy a bottle of wine to stay. Be prepared to be bitten by mosquitoes and take a strong repellent. There is no ATM at the club, so take some Pesos with you or USD in small bills to tip the staff. They greatly appreciate it. The reception is not able to break big USD bills.

Prior to our stay at Club Med, we asked about the vegan dining options the resort had due to their collaboration with Chef Chloe Coscarelli. Club Med emailed over a PDF file of the various vegan meals available. However, when we stayed at the resort many of the mentioned options were not available. We’re not upset, but disappointed. We felt a little left out of the resort dining experience. Please update the vegan meal documents for future guests so they aren’t disappointed with their food experience like we were.
Very shiny and hot week (first week of August, almost too hot. Our experience with our ground floor room was shocking at first due a strong humidity/moisture smell. Club was full and they could not change rooms. So they provided us with an ionizer that got rid of the stinky smell in a few hours. Do not stay at the room while it is working because it will affect your lumbs and will make you start coughing after a while. That our only problem.Food was amazing -all kind of sea food and ceviches-. If you have the chance ask for Aqumarina section when you select your room; it's a more tropical environment Free WiFi is average. You can pay for the premium upgrade but upload is not good enough to make reasonable good conference calls. They manage to get rid of the sargazo at the beach by means of a special crew to clean it from the beach early un the morning. Nice white sand and very warm water. Overall a good experience.
Ths is our 4th Club Med holiday as a family of 6, having been to Punta Cana and Kani resorts too. Cancun was just as good. The beds were the most comfortable I've stayed in. The room layout was great with a fab view of lagoon. The resort is beautiful, the staff are all so helpful and the food excellent. We really enjoyed the tennis classes, boot camps and circus sessions on offer. Special thanks to GO's Charlotte, Chris, Javier, Emmanuel and Sophie. Food was excellent and really liked the steak restaurant. I'd definitely recommend this resort.

Highly recommend Club Med@Cancun. Beautiful resort close to the airport (<30min) on a very nice beach and marine reserve (snorkeling).Good options for sports although quite crowded that time of the year. Sailing/paddle/kayak etc Many rooms are on the lagune which is very calm and relaxing. We did 2 excursions - Tulum and cenotes with 2 excellent guides - Ludo and Cesar - Kantun Chi cenotes were just incredibly beautiful providing all amenities - showers, changing rooms etc Tulum was very hot and somewhat disappointing as the sea access is closed and beach filled with garbage. The tour is great as we were there very early to escape the heat and crowd. Cesar and Ludo were very knowledgeable. Another excursion was Isla Mujeres - Adrien and his crew were amazing making sure everyone was safe and well fed (that ceviche was good!) and hydrated. Well done! We had lunch/dinner with a few GO who were very nice and welcoming - Sara, Fernanda, Aby and JJ. Some of the activities were a little disappointing with older equipment and material (Archery). Overall a very nice stay. I would however prefer smaller resorts @ club med such as Ixtapa
