I justify the slightly low rating with a family outing.
Unsuitable place for a small family meal, music too loud and noisy and the space not very welcoming.
Food service quite long.
The bouritos are not bad, not the best, but quite lacking in seasoning.
Guacamole good but not exceptional.
The food is good, nothing exceptional, but the place is not very welcoming.
On the other hand, the dishes are still good overall.

After a long day at the beach and doing water activites this is just what me and the wife needed. The Taco mix was great!

60 dollars for 6 tacos and a guacamole...it's good but it's way too expensive

Very good but… the prices. USD $45 + tip for 2 orders of tacos and a couple of aguas frescas. Gringo pricing like everywhere else in Cancún.

A gem of Cancun! This is a very small place right off the main road. We had excellent service, the tequila was flowing, and the food was ridiculously delicious. I had some steak that was perfectly cooked and fresh ceviche loaded with seafood and avocado! The portion size was massive, so I would definitely recommend sharing! Add some hot sauce for the perfect balance!! Yum. I woll be dreaming of coming back to this place on my next visit.

Very surprised to have such a wonderful chef in a small town like Chemuyil , Adela provided a great meal experience in her beautiful kitchen in the middle of the jungle. We had ordered food for our dinner at the apartment since we were staying in the area it was very good. We decided to go back and Adela made a very complete menu that included beef, fish, chicken and turkey it was a tasting “probadita” of local cuisine, her many variations of corn tortillas made on the spot, different types of vegetables very fresh and delicious . Each tasting was more like a meal, portions were huge. Drinks made from fresh from fruits. Dessert a dark very rich chocolate cake and cheesecake. Unfortunately you can only eat so much, no one left hungry. Ratings on ambiance, food quality, portion size, value is a solid 10. The best part of our meal was Adela she made a great dinner an experience, she adds a lot to the atmosphere, with plenty of interaction to learn about our meal. Great chef , great host and a greater person. A soon as we are back in Tulum we will be visiting her.

Food was good and prices were good, but... i noticed another american complaining about extra charges on his bill. I decided to look at my receipt. The waiter kept trying to take my card and not letting me hold the receipt. When i finally saw it, there were extra charges. The waiter went to his boss who was looking at me like he wanted to fight. They ended up giving me some pesos for the "mistake" but charging my card the full amount.

Probadita is the finest dining experience in the tulum area! However, Adela the owner/chef is the true jewel! The minute you arrive at her home, her warmth and hospitality truly make you feel that you are part of her family. The multi-course meal is prepared exceptionally with foods and flavors you will not encounter at any other restaurant. Her artistry is honestly so inspiring to me. My husband and I will always return to Probadita when we visit tulum!

I got the soggiest nachos, three bland tacos, and a drink for $60. I was in so much shock I almost just left the country. I'm not sure where all these high reviewers are eating but we are definitely not at the same restaurant.
