This is a review for Le Bistro, which opens at 5 pm. and after Veranda closes. Second night of a seven date night week. We ordered the Beef Carpaccio for our appetizer. For our main course, I ordered the Rib-eye. My wife ordered the Lamb Chop. Food came out in a timely manner. For dessert, I ordered the Red Berry Cheesecake. My wife ordered the Mango Pavlova. We ended up taking most of our food back to the room to consume later. Overall, I would highly recommend this location!

We went to this restaurant for buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner on 3 different occasions. Breakfast was barely eatable; it was not tasting good at all. When we went for dinner, we loved their seafood shrimp items specially cocktail shrimp, the Carribean shrimp, and the shrimp fry’s and the Ribeye’s steak. Also we suggest try their garlic bread. Must order and try their special cocktail drinks from the menu.

A really nice fine dining restaurant within the Royal Sands hotel. The food was delicious and the staff were efficient and provided a pleasant service.
Royal Sands is amazing! We have been coming here for years and never disappointed! Mario Alvarez our server at LaVeranda is amazing! He makes us feel at home ! We appreciate you Mario! Mangal family!
I will only eat the buffet there from this point forward. Ordered dinner on two different evenings. The first I ordered French Onion soup and a steak rare. Soup arrived, however there was no cheese, the steak which was supposed to be rare was well done. The second evening my wife and I each ordered pasta, my came out 15 minutes prior to my wife’s. Needless to say my was cold by the time hers arrived
prior to arriving I heard views unfavorable about the food at Royal ands. I did not find that to be the case, everything that we ordered was of good size and moderate price and it tasted very good
I went to have dinner at the restaurants Italian night on Saturdays. This was the worst Italian food I have ever eaten. The beef and octopus carpaccio had no Italian flavor at all. I asked for a fettuccine Alfredo which they made in front of me. The pasta was watery, the sauce was not creamy at all, and after asking the cook to make it twice, there was no Italian flavor at all. I have never had such a watery pasta ever cooked in front of me. The Royal sands resort should not advertise this restaurant as having an Italian night. Stick to American and Mexican cuisine.

The service and food was outstanding. Make an early reservation, it gets busy and when we were leaving, there was a line waiting to get in. We had specialty drinks, the mushroom bruschetta and carpaccio were delicious appetizers. We had a wide selection from the menu. Ask the waiter because they have some dessert so they’re not on the menu, like bananas, foster. Everything was delicious. Thank you so much.
My husband and I spent the day at the Royal Sands and ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at La Veranda. For breakfast we ate at the buffet which consisted of a waffle, omelets and crepe stations. There was also fruit, muffins, sausage and other breakfast items. For lunch and dinner I would recommend ordering from the menu, if you are not in a hurry. For lunch there isn't much to choose from, your options are standard buffet options. The menu had more options to choose from and it was made to order. The drinks are not strong, sometimes tasting no alcohol.

Dinner and lunch were both great but Willie and Miguel the managers made it even morev enjoyable. Two true professionals!!! Always aking if there is something more vthey can do. The foodn isn good nand the service andn attention the best.
An excellent and varied buffet menu, pleasant atmosphere and the attention that Mr. Samuel gave us at dinner was the best thing about the place, he made us feel at home, 100% recommended
I ate here 5 times, once for breakfast and four for dinner. My all time favorite is the breakfast buffet. Pablanos and cream. Oh man. 3 buffet areas plus dessert area, plus made-to-order area staffed by two chefs. Dinner buffets have different themes, like Caribbean night. You can always order off the menu which I did twice.
Tika Xic fish and Spanish rice.
The food is always great, but the service is incredible. The atmosphere is wonderful, and when they have live music, it just kicks it up a notch. I love this place!
