Found this place on our lastnight in Cancun, so disappointed we didn't find it sooner!! Best food we had, they elevate every dish in a unique way. The cantaritos were excellent. Service from Adrien was amazing, quick, friendly and gave the best recommendations! I will definitely be back, hopefully soon. Bought a bottle of their sauce to bring home as well. Love it, highly recommend!
I traveled through Mexico City, Puerto Valarta, Oaxaco then came to Cancun purely to dive on the way to Merida. But how was I to know I was going to chance upon Adrien and El Mero Mero. Just go. It is the most amazing food - I cant see how you can get better. I went again our last night and it was even better. If you can find better mexican food in Mexico, you are very very lucky. Pete.
