Beware of Unfair Charges and Dishonest Practices

I strongly advise everyone to avoid this establishment at all costs. My recent experience here was not only disappointing but also involved blatant dishonesty and a refusal to rectify their mistake.

Upon checking my receipt, I noticed a discrepancy in the amount charged. For a total of 360 pesos, which is equivalent to 21 USD, I was shockingly charged 42 USD. This was double the actual cost, and when I brought this to their attention, they flatly refused to issue a refund.

The employee claimed that they had added a 20% tip and tax to the bill. However, a simple calculation reveals that 20% of 21 USD is 4 USD, not the extra 21 USD I was charged. Moreover, it is highly unethical to add a 20% tip to a takeout order without the customer's consent.

I am trying to identify the owner. I have a picture of the employee involved and would like this issue resolved.

In the meantime, I urge everyone to steer clear of this business. They do not respect their customers, they laugh at you behind your back and steal your money.

I ordered birria tacos and they were good. The low score is because they do not inform that they do not charge by card, they include a 20% tip in the bill as if it were mandatory, and the bathroom leaves something to be desired.

Terrible attitude of the waiters... they discriminated against us for being national, they did not give us the correct change, they gave us less and they also demanded a tip from us, which of course we gave them even though they did not deserve it. I'll never go back!

Too expensive !
When paying, the waiter did not give us a receipt but a handwritten piece of paper, with an amount that came out of nowhere, no details. I asked the server for details of the bill and he refused.
Disappointing

You can't give it a minus 1 but it's the worst service, the food stinks, the cleaning is disgusting and the drinks are exorbitantly expensive, I wouldn't go again even if they paid me!!

The waiter was very funny and cheerful, the tacos were delicious

Bad service, poor food (some cartilage in the meat) and beer that is too expensive lead to a 2 star rating! OK for a quickie but otherwise you should avoid it!

Mandatory tip? Horrible service and disgusting food, terrible people and thieves because they charge the tip themselves 15%

Horrible, I don't recommend anyone eat here, they are thieves. They don't accept cards and they didn't even let us know beforehand or have a sign that says cash only. And after that they treated us badly. I will not return and I do not recommend anyone to go not worth it.

Overpriced and they try to screw you any chance they get.

STAY AWAY!!! they cheated us out of $ and basically stood over us stating that we needed to go an atm and retrieve cash to pay the bill which was a different amount??? The “manager” un gordito de mala clase…do yourself a favor and stop supporting these thieves that acted like thugs!! Not to mention the most disgusting bathroom with NO SINK

BEWARE!!! DO NOT GO HERE! THEY OVER CHARGED US BY OVER $50. CLAIMED THEIR CARD MACHINE WAS DOWN, JUST TO MAKE UP A WHOLE NEW NUMBER IN CASH, WHICH I'M SURE THEY POCKETED. DON'T GO!

Very friendly people and a great local business. Respectful people who make amazing food you should definitely try their food when you come to Cancun
