Went back after 5 years and this place again delivered. Simple menu - fish taco (now 25 pesos still a great value), portion of mixed shrimp and octopus ceviche are huge and VERY fresh. Fried whole fish sells by kilos is also very fresh (1 kilo=490 pesos) and even breaded shrimps are good. Going there is a bit of challenge. No real sign post on the street but since we knew the exact place from last visit, went there via bus, no problem. Service also friendly and quick. Price, too good to be true in tourist place Cancun.
This is a nice spot on the lagoon from which to watch the sunset. The guacamole was average, our dinners of shrimp were inedible. The waiter was pleasant.
This spot is a hidden gem. We are staying at the Cancun Plaza, and its a short walk to El Galeon. Rustic, but so quaint. Gorgeous Lagoon view if you are lucky enough to have a water front table. The food is amazing. Highly recommend the shrimp ceviche and guacamole. Ice cold beer and fish tacos are perfection for this couple. Will visit more often.
The guacamole and fried fish taco are really good. The staff is nice and they can talk in English and Spanish.
Excellent seafood! I recommend them
This hidden gem is simply the best of the old world mexican cancun... The freshest of everything and the fish, The C e v I c e, And everything else was simply the best. Even though we stay in an all inclusive, We still come here for lunch or dinner. Nothing fancy but simply the best and economical.
I enjoyed my visit , restaurant is a hidden gem across street from GR caribe/royal solaris , if your staying their it’s worth the walk over. Their menu is more condensed then it was in past but everything was delicious. Cash only restaurant
This place is hands down one of the best places we’ve eaten at in Cancun! The waiters are awesome the ambient is relaxing and overall a 10/10! Definitely recommend this place if you’re in the area! Excellente todo!!!

We arrived, we sat down and after 10 minutes that nobody attended us we pulled a waiter or manager I don't know what it was but he didn't wear a uniform but he was working there he didn't want to take our order, he threw the ball at the waiter and the waiter instead of taking our order order went out to run errands instead of serving us, lousy service and we had to go to the tostadillas in plaza toucanes since they took good care of us there.
Good seasoning

A great find. Awesome authentic local food. Great service, great food, great prices. Highly recommend!
My wife wife and I had shrimp cocktails on June 19 a day before returning to home to USA. WE HAVE BEEN SICK WITH DIARRHEA AND VOMITING FOR OVER 10 days. That was the last meal we had.
Not a lot of options for real restaurants down amongst the all inclusives, but this place had open fire grilling for fish and shrimp, along with cold beer. Good service. Note -- is cash only. They take dollars but not MasterCard!
