A super warm atmosphere and an open kitchen remind us of a home-cooked meal,
At the start, as a courtesy, they served us some delicious small breads.
We ate a good size diavola pizza with a well balanced flavor, the ingredients were fresh and felt of good quality, the dough was not very brown on the bottom
Pretty good and fast service

It is honestly the Italian restaurant with a lot of expectations that I have been to, only to find a great disappointment, starting with the strong smell of gas that is perceived when you enter, our pizza was personal size but was recommended for two people, plus the dough It was raw inside, it seemed to us that the cook who prepared it did not have much desire, we arrived at 8:45 pm and the service felt as if they wanted to close, when we asked for the bill and left at 9:30 pm, they began to put the furniture in. outside then later when we were still there nearby.
Another super strange thing is that they do not have updated prices on their Instagram and they are completely different from the menu they have in the restaurant... When asking for the wine list they did not give it. They told us that they were already other prices, but that they could only be said verbally, with no way for you as a diner to corroborate them.
Anyway, being a local, I wouldn't go again.

I came for dinner and had the gnocchi pasta and a glass of wine. Service was ok, bit slow even though there was only myself and one other couple in the restaurant. Food tasted fresh. Total was $270 MX pesos.

I really have to laugh after visiting here, I was the only guest on a Saturday evening, that should have warned me. They didn't have any drinks, unless I was offered Coke. (An Italian without wine?) Ok. I ate the asparagus risotto, it was ok but really not very good. There was no bruschetta because there were no tomatoes. (And again: how can an Italian not have tomatoes?) But I wasn't offered an alternative either..I don't think the waitress felt comfortable, didn't speak a word of English and I had the feeling that the shop was rather bothered by me as a guest. It's a total shame, the store looks so nice. But I definitely won't be coming back. This has nothing to do with passion for the job.

Nice place, professional and pleasant staff. Delicious food! Italy level. Excellent fresh artisan pasta. The portions are not very large but for one person they are fine. I recommend it!!

You can order your food and drinks with the reusable food/drink container system of Vytal which prevents single use packaging waste. That alone is enough for me to give 5 stars! We need more restaurants giving priority to sustainability!

Ristorante Ben Fatto ARTIGIANALE is a fantastic Italian restaurant located on a tranquil, local street in downtown Cancun. If you're looking for a refreshing change from the usual tacos, quesadillas, and crowded tourist spots, this place comes highly recommended. Our dining experience at Ristorante Ben Fatto ARTIGIANALE was truly delightful, with the highlight being the mouthwatering pizzas they served. Among the various options we sampled, the prosciutto pizza emerged as a personal favorite. Each slice was generously adorned with savory prosciutto, and the portion size exceeded our expectations, offering exceptional value for the price (10 USD).What made our visit even more memorable was the fact that we had the entire restaurant to ourselves throughout the entire evening. While it initially felt a bit unconventional, the intimate and serene ambiance quickly grew on us, allowing us to fully relish our dining experience.
Great place to go for a delicious lunch. As a recommendation the lasagna, it is delicious. Very friendly service and super affordable prices.

If we could have put 0, we would have frankly done it. Arancinis that arrive still frozen at the table. Pointing it out to the waitress, she takes them back from us, the cook puts them back in the deep fryer and they come back with the almost burnt breadcrumbs… 4-cheese pizzas whose filling is completely overcooked while the dough is undercooked (a problem of oven temperature setting?). A waitress who seems completely lost… Another table of 6 was present and all their dishes arrived at different times, which meant that some ate when the first served had finished (be careful if you are a large table). I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL !

The pizza and pasta was delicious however the place has a few teething problems. When we arrived we were the only people in the restaurant. We ordered a pizza and an arrabiatta pasta, however the restaurant filled with smoke cooking the pizza so we moved to a table outside. When the pizza arrived, the bottom was completely burnt and the top wasn't cooked so we showed the manager/waiter who offered us a fresh pizza. My pasta then arrived, which was delicious and a proper al dente fresh pappardelle, but this was 10 minutes after my boyfriend's first pizza. There was one chef who couldn't manage both at the same time. The second attempt at the pizza was much better, but still had a faint carcinogenic taste from the gas oven. The waitress was sweet but the overall service needed big improvements, nobody ever apologised for the late pasta, or checked if the new pizza was better. There was also no drinks menu and no prices for drinks, so I had to ask what a glass of white wine would cost.Nice place with good food, service needs improvement.
Best Italian food I've ever got! You really have to try the pear and gorgonzola cheese pizza, I've been there a few times and tried almost all the menue and we loved everything, you don't have to make reservations and never it's too crowdedIt's definitely a secret jewel hidden in Cancun
Vegetarian options: Pesto pasta even if you're vegan they can make something special for you

Pizza was good but has nothing to do with Napolian pizza, is the finest in Cancun so far but a little bit cheese tomato sauce not that fresh
Super tasty pizza with really friendly staff. The atmosphere is relaxing and wholesome. The music sets a calming but fun vibe whilst it’s obvious that the staff here enjoy their jobs. They are really attentive. The staff here speak both English and Espanol. The flavor of the pizza took me by surprise. I didn’t expect it to be flavored and the texture of the dough is lovely. I highly recommend trying out this spot if you’re in or near downtown Cancun.
