We were very disappointed with our last visit to Samura Restaurant. The bull tuna sashimis we ordered were of very average quality, more reminiscent of classic bluefin tuna. We had tried this dish here before and the difference was evident. When we mentioned this issue to the waitress, she simply responded that the batch was of lower quality than usual, with no other explanation or gesture to compensate.
The service also left a lot to be desired: my second glass of wine took more than 10 minutes to arrive, while the waiters seemed more busy chatting among themselves than serving customers. At the end of the meal, we were the last ones in the restaurant and clearly felt like an inconvenience. We were not offered any dessert or digestif, and we had to get up to pay. Even at that time, upon mentioning again our disappointment with the sashimis, the only response was that the batch was of lower quality, without any commercial gesture to compensate for it.
For a dish priced close to 400 pesos, this experience was really disappointing. We used to enjoy this place, but after this visit, we seriously hesitate to return.

We went on Wednesday when we rested because other shushis were packed full because of their 3x2 and here they managed a good 2x1 with a good price and good service and atmosphere. I had been to this place before and I loved their asparagus wrapped in meat. This time we went to celebrate my birthday. There were few of us, 5 people. They warned us that the cold bar was going to take a while, however it arrived on time with the rest of what we ordered. The tempura shrimp, edamame, rock shrimp and a roll were all delicious, I didn't love the mixed Pad Thai, I ordered a liqueur martini, I didn't like it, they also added ice!!! We ordered a Japanese pie dessert, spongy on top, very delicious. The bad thing is that it was my birthday they asked me for a cake and they never brought it. The waiter's service was a little slow in terms of lifting dirty plates and so on.

Great service and quality food! We had spicy edamame (fire-roasted, wow, the best), gyozas, tempura udon, and 5 rolls for family of 4. It was great. Wasabi was a little bland though. Staff was very attentive (in the best way) and we would go back for sure.
Parking: Limited parking along the street. Valet service is handy.

The food is alright nothing outta the extraordinary. The pokes appear to be vast but when you actually order any of them it's not like in the menu. Poor portions of protein and lots of rice ?
A magnificent place to eat with your partner or family, excellent service from all its staff, mainly Darling one of the waiters who are there in the afternoon, very well presented dishes and excellent flavor, top-notch proteins, and drinks (cocktails ) of good size and at affordable prices.

The waiter service is terrible, they only bring you the food and the bill when you haven't ordered it yet "they close at 1" but already at 11:30 p.m. They are running you subtly. They should change them so as not to go with false expectations of the same, literal fast food. Welcome and food 10/10.

The place is cozy, the Yakimeshi, very delicious as well as the cheese Kushiage. But the udon noodle in tamarind sauce with seafood left a lot to be desired, the seafood was very tough.
