Saw the positive reviews and went on a mission to find this place one Friday night in May. Walked past a Japanese restaurant in an alley way and was met with a dead end. I hear voices behind me ushering me into the restaurant. I said if they knew of a jazz bar around here. Yes they said, but it’s funk tonight and they ushered me down the stairs.
You are greeted to the sight of a cool as a cucumber looking small bar with crowded tables and a relaxed friendly atmosphere....

Very cozy place with romantic atmosphere, perfect for a date or a night out with friends. They have special events depending on the day. We enjoyed live jazz music and was amazing. If you’re not into alcohol the Amai mocktail is a must ?FYI the entrance is a bit hidden ??
The place was hard to find, located in the back of a Japanese restaurant, and most tables were reserved.
Learning points:
1. The music (jazz on the night of our visit) was outrageously loud, to the point of glasses and bottles shaking at the bar.
2. The replacement of bourbon with a vastly more expensive imported whiskey was not made clear...
