I cannot say enough about this place. Everything was exceptional. Uriel was A+ along with the other staff. I've been to many restaurants around the world and Taboo is one of my top 5. Don't sleep on this place. Treat yourself.

To make a checklist of the offers from the Black Rose group, it's great! However, it does not have a pool or a decent beach, other than a pier. As for food, there is variety and the average price per person is $1,000 mxn. The staff is friendly and assigns you to the place that you have previously purchased, it is important that you consider that additional cost.

This place is phenomenal! Food was exceptionally delicious and the vibe of the place was perfect! It’s our second time here with new group of friends, and we cant recommend it enough! I won’t describe you all the food that we ordered because I encourage you to try them all! All I’m saying is I wish I was dining or lunching with yall right now! Ha!!

Was there last week with high hopes since its located right off the water with a pool and beautiful decor. I visit Isla every other year and wanted to check out their new spot. Unfortunately it’s not what I expected it to be. Way over priced !!! Ordered a hookah that never pulled any smoke, informed 2 servers about it which they couldn't get any smoke out themself. Went to inform the manager Dayn and she said well the shisha is burnt so you must of smoked it.Were on a bachelorette trip with group of 7 ladies. Server then brought a mocktail that none of us ordered and we demanded that he takes it back and off our bill because we did not order it. Server stated that he can’t take the drink off the bill .Also food took a good 40 mins to come . Mind you this was on a Monday with only 2 other tables filled, place was pretty empty. Everything is cooked on a grill. The only good thing I can say is its a great location for photos, the shrimp and fish tacos were pretty good and Taboo has there on dock so we were able to pull up with our yacht .
The supervisor Dany is amazing. Super accommodating and extremely friendly. The drinks are unique and strong. I loved the atmosphere, they play house music all day. Super chill space if you want some peace and quiet and your own space to chill out.

I would love to give this place a higher rating because it is probably the most beautiful beach club on the island - but food and drinks are still so overpriced. And that is probably why it was empty when we visited on a late Friday afternoon. Staff were friendly - maybe a bit too much though… nobody wants to be asked 3 times in 30 mins if everything is going well and if they need anything else.

Beautiful sunset dinner with great atmosphere, vibe, and delicious food. Then top it off with the service of our waiter Moises…wow! First day on this island and ended on such a high note. Thank you to the manager Dany and team for making such a fabulous dinning experience!
