Went with my boyfriend two times in one week to Taco Loco, and we are really said, that we can’t eat this fantastic food forever! Fresh food and a very friendly and competent Service. Would recommend and come back every time I’m here.
This place is on the main road leading to Bacalar and is easy to miss. But if you like oysters, it is a must visit. The oysters were fresh, juicy and plump. We would go back just for them. The shrimp empanizado tacos were just ok. The shrimp were chopped up and the breading wasn't crispy.
This is the place for seafood tacos in bacalar. It's been open for over 40 years and once you try them you'll know why. Everything is made on the spot, their tortillas are soooooo good that they change the game completely. Go for the local recipes such a pil pil, napolitano and tikin xic.
