I ran into a Mexican-Ameican couple from Michigan who reccommended this place having dined there numerous times on their honeymoon in Holbox. I had arrenchera beef tacos, and on a second visit, the pork chop dinner. $150 pesos for pork chop dinner (about $9 US) and another $2 for a coke. I could not eat all the food as the portions were generous. If you'd like a reliable and satisfying meal at a reasonable and fair price, this is the place! The servers are friendly too!
If you want real Mexican tacos and service, this is the place! Jaziel our waiter was quick and efficient for whatever we needed. We got guacamole, tacos al pastor and a gringa.. wow! So good!!! We took Ruta 1 bus from the hotel zone to get here, so easy! Anyways, do not miss this spot, it was amazing!
I make a habit to ask my drivers where they like to eat, and why. This was recommended, and I finally got over here for some chilaquiles. This is exactly the kind of place I like to eat when I'm traveling. Friendly people, great food, large portions, great prices. I was a little surprised that credit card was offered as an option, so I saved my cash for other places where it isn't.
