Charging premium prices for unfresh cheap food that is way below the average and very inconsistent ..

Sarai is amazing. A smile can be seen even behind the mask. Pastor served us like queens. The Huevos Rancheros were the best I've ever had in my life. Now, I'm going to eat the divorced ones because I'm going to return until I return to my country.

Food was a little slow coming out, however it was really good! We ate here twice, then decided to try somewhere else and regretted that decision.

It's inside the hotel we stayed. The food is surprisingly yummy, especially the seafood ceviche (including fully cooked shrimp, octopus, squid and other ingredients) and the wok (pic 3). Orange juice (tastes like freshly squeezed) and mojito are very tasty. Also very nice service (but a bit slow)! We went back there for a second time for the seafood ceviche and the drinks as an afternoon snack.Quick update, May 2, 2023, we have had 3 formal meals and 1 afternoon snack here. Also, the other sports bar in the same hotel shares the exact menu, so they are both good.
It is not located in the hotel zone but it not located in the city center either but rather located something in between so it is quite a calm area but with good connectivity using the “colectivo” option. The service was very good and the facilities as well. Nice pool and view.
We chose this hotel for our first stay in Cancun mainly because it had Centro on it's name. It's not very centrally located to much. Firstly, above all, the staff makes up for this, the front desk were extremely helpful with information, taxis, and taking care of our suitcases. The restaurant, bar staff and housekeeping were equally helpful, friendly and genuinely warm people. However, we wish the hotel was located closer to the centrum to really give a 5 star. Nothing is walkable close to the hotel. First day we walked 20-30min walk in the hot sun with nothing interesting on the way to get to the centro where most of the hotel and shops were located. Once we got comfortable with the taxis, it was about 150 Mexican pesos to get to the hotel. To get to the beaches it was a fair price from the hotel of 300 pesos but expect to be price gauged on the way back, Taxi drivers want 600/700 pesos /37 USD on the way back. We got comfortable with catching buses by the end of our stay. Thank you to the staff, you really make up for the lack of center location for an otherwise excellent hotel.
So, again, for the past 25 years I have been a 100-150 nights a year traveler for business and recreation. And I don't write a lot of reviews on Trip Advisor because, well, do you have any idea how much time that would consume with my travels? So I only do it when really necessary. That being said, this was probably the all around best property I have ever stayed in. I'll just hammer the raw details below, but to summarize if you're considering this property you cannot go wrong. - The room was absolutely spotless, including every corner of the room and bathroom. Considering it is all white tile, that's saying something. - The bathroom was well lit, with daylight bulbs for accurate makeup application - The bathroom was large, the shower area huge, and the water pressure was phenomenal. There's a portable shower spray, and also a ceiling rain showerhead. - The air conditioning is clean, and able to cool the room to below 18C/64F - The room was spacious - The internet provided speeds of 45Mbit - The beds were comfortable - The room is completely serviced daily, and if they see money, credit cards, or jewelry out in view, they call security which comes up and inventories it so you know your valuables were not taken. - The entire staff is friendly and helpful - The room TV is large and new - Bottled water is free in unlimited quantities - There's a mini fridge in your room (but not a microwave in at least ours). The cafe will microwave anything you want. - Everything else in the room was new, including the cordless room phone There's a huge closet area, with drawers, hangers, and ironing board and iron. - Room service is available from the on-site cafe early in the morning to late at night, the menu is large, the service quick, and the food excellent. - The breakfast buffet at the on-site cafe is hands-down the most well stocked of any I have ever seen, anywhere. - There is a bar on site open 6 nights a week. It serves food as well. There is an ATM in the lobby, and one in the hospital next door, which is in the same building - There is a fantastic zero-edge pool on the roof, a roof bar, and a rooftop workout gym - There is a massage, Reiki and nail salon in the hotel, and the services are very reasonably priced. It was underused by everyone else on site during my weeklong visit, and so I used it every day. - The neighborhood is moderately upscale and safe - There is a Walmart within walking distance up the street, which also has two cafes, one of which is Pepe Piranha, the cutest coffee cafe I've ever seen. Also nearby is a plaza with a fantastic cafe, French restaurant, and Gelato restaurant. - The hotel pays taxis to sit outside waiting, so usually you walk out to a waiting taxi. - There is 24/7 security in the lobby, and one needs a room key to use the elevator. Do not take this as a safety concern, it's a safe area, and this makes it even safer. - Taxis are cheap for nearby restaurants (Cancun Centro) which are plentiful (100 pesos was common). Taxis to the hotel district were about $300 pesos, but much more expansive coming back $650 pesos. - I cannot believe how low the price was for this stay. I ended up tipping pretty generously because everyone was worth it, especially for this price. Note, if you want good restaurants there's absolutely no need to go to the hotel district, where prices are needlessly astronomical. Les Cèpages is absolutely top-notch, Restaurante Italiano - Locanda is absolutely top-notch, La Parrilla Cancún on Yaxchilán is a touristy place the locals will suggest, but the food was good, and the filet was the most tender I've ever been served, and La Habichuela was absolutely top-notch, with an incredible outdoor dining area. All are within about a 5-7 minute taxi ride. Anyone that travels extensively will know by this point this Four Points Hotel just rocks! Wish US hotels were half this nice. Shoot, this far exceeds the stay I had at Kimpton in London.
Chef Cesario's home made special salsa is just awesome. The service is nice and food tastes great, the terrace is a good place to sit even though the big road is nearby.
