Very good food, and nice service. It is a bit outside of the busy street, but I prefer that, and we had a lovely dinner.

An absolute must to dine at when visiting Isla Mujeres. A true gem of a restaurant. Everything we ate was outstanding. Cannot wait to comeback.

The schedule indicated on Google is not correct. My mother and I went to visit this restaurant on a Saturday at 2 pm and it was closed. A waste of time

We ordered a fish with mango sauce and some fajitas. They were good, very tasty but nothing to write home about. The attention was very good from those who provided it and the place is a little neglected.

Very friendly people and delicious food. We ate fried fish and natural lemonade. The only recommendation would be that they should let it be known that the soups are not available when they open. We'll be back for the soup!!

I forgot to take photos of the food but not of their pet who was enjoying life.

I went with my family to eat and everything was delicious, it is a place with very homemade flavors and the service is good. Everyone was very friendly

Do yourself a favour and go here for lunch or dinner, you won’t regret it!! We stumbled upon Abuelos walking back to our hotel and almost didn’t go in because it was empty, however we checked the reviews and decided to give it a go. IM SO GLAD WE DID!!! The family who run the business are all so lovely and most importantly the food is soooo delicious and flavourful. Sit upstairs there’s a lovely terrace up there which isn’t evident from the road. The first day we both had the chicken nachos and a classic margarita and both were divine (they bring sour cream and spicy sauce separately). We were so impressed we came back for lunch (again it was empty, what!) and had seriously epic chicken and beef fajitas and the lime soup which was also fab. This time we tried the pina coladas and they were delicious too. The food looks modest in the photos, but is so flavourful I’d highly recommend giving it a try as it was our favourite on the island.

We ordered fish ceviche and shrimp ceviche. Both dishes were tasteless.

Food was not very good. We ordered the guacamole, mixed ceviche, and beef tacos. The guacamole was very light on avocado compared to other reviewer’s photos. Not worth the price we paid

My wife and I love this little place. It's somewhat hidden but worth searching out. Friendly service, amazing food, extremely reasonable prices. What more can you ask for! Previously, we always sat on the second floor (yes, we come here every time we visit the island) and this time they were so busy we decided to sit on the first floor. It doesn't matter where you sit. Same wonderful service! Same exquisite food!

We have regularly come to this restaurant for several years, it is our favourite on Isla Mujeres. We usually get the grilled tuna steak with soy sauce and ginger. This time we decided to be a bit more wild (we were 5 people) and ordered fried coconut shrimp with mango sauce, tequila grilled shrimp, grilled shrimp wrapped in bacon, shrimp chevice and shrimp all'ajo. Everything was absolutely marvellous! The combination of shrimp and bacon felt adventurous at first but it was actually amazing! As always, staff was very attentive and the service was fast. We love this family run place and we already made a reservation for our last night on the island.
