Friendly service and food made fresh whenever you go in. Not my favorite entree but that’s probably more on me. The coconut shrimp didn’t taste that coconut-ey compared to the dish I’ve had in places like Hawaii, but it’s maybe also less artificial. They were out of agua de mango but the pineapple was good. The little lagoon-peak view is nice.

We had a great a meal here one evening, the food was authentic and very well priced. We also drank great mojitos and enjoyed the general atmosphere - much less touristic than the other restaurants close to the beach.

Tasty breakfast at attractive prices. I was renting a room just down the street, and stopped in here for breakfast numerous times. Their breakfast menu has plenty of options, all very reasonably priced (vs what you’d find in Centro). Coffee and a ham/cheese omelette with rice, beans and generous stack of tortillas was a mere 115 pesos. A larger combination breakfast (hotcakes, fresh juice, fruit plate, eggs, bacon, tortillas) was 200. The dining area is open air and overlooks the salina. On various visits, I saw turtles and a heron. A resident rooster (Claudia, I’m told) kept me company every morning and was grateful for the bits of soft tortilla I provided him. A charming place to start your day. nb, due to the salina, there are some mosquitos; I didn’t really notice them, but I later discovered a few bug bites on my legs. A bit of bug spray might be prudent.

An awesome local gem!!! Food is delicious and cheap and the staff are friendly. They also have vegetarian options which was rare in the are. We went back multiple times and tried the tostadas, tacos, tortas and enchilladas. All delicious! Skip the overpriced touristy spots and go for this local spot instead!
Vegetarian options: They had vegetarian options like enchilladas and tortas (sandwich) to name a couple.
Dietary restrictions: Good options for vegetarians!

I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. They don't rip you off and the food is delicious. Our favorite two dishes are the chicken enchiladas mole and chicken empanadas. Don't go there for the margaritas but for the price you can't really complain. With their foot breakfast too. We stayed on the island for a month so we needed to find reasonable prices with good food. This place was our go to. We always tip them 20% because they are not thieves like the rest of this island.
