Very bad service regarding the rental of golf carts, very transactional, we agreed on a rental of 600 for one hour and by neglecting me for a minute the person charged me for a transaction of 650 on March 11, 2024 and a few seconds later he charged me 600 since my card does not require a PIN, while I was checking the cart, they do it with the full intention of scrubbing it, since they know that we are only going to be on the island for 1 or 2 hours and we will not return

We came here for the view, and to enjoy the beach, and we enjoyed the Best Hurricane drink made by America our bartender! Jose was our waiter and he took such good care of us we didn’t want to leave. We definitely coming back for dinner!

Undeniably, Playa Norte is the main attraction, but the authentic, delicious food, creative drinks, and, most of all, the attentive service make the Mayan Beach Club our favorite! GABRIEL is the best! GABRIEL made sure we were comfortable and fully satisfied with our lounge chairs, umbrella, and food/drink. He was professional and made great recommendations. JUVE is awesome! JUVE consistently checked on both of us and ensured that we were both satisfied. Both Gabriel and Juve have a way of taking care of you before you know that you need something!

We’ve been coming here for years are so sad to see the menu has changed and our favorite fish tacos are no longer offered. It also seems the menu has been cut quite a bit and prices have gone up, while quality has gone down. It’s too bad but gives us an opportunity to explore more of the amazing restaurants on the island.

People working there are thieves. Tell you price then double it. I was told it was 200 pesos for both of us to sit on beach chairs and another 600 pesos for both of us were required in food and beverage. When we went to leave, they said it was per person which NEVER happened! Manager is a liar! Nothing like stealing on Christmas Day! AVOID this place!

The meal was excellent and the service was incredible. We had the salmon which was delicious and the rib eye was cooked perfectly, Samuel was our waiter and he was attentive and very helpful. I was surprising my girlfriend for her birthday and he did everything he could possible to make it a very special night. Can’t thank him enough. Highly recommend Samuel and the rest of the crew for an excellent dinner on the beach!

I have been to this place so many times, they are constantly evolving to improve in every aspect, food was incredible, but who made this visit amazing was Samuel’s excellent service. He was very proactive, attentive and very friendly.

We can’t even begin to express how amazing Samuel was! My friend and I felt very safe the whole time and he was very attentive to our needs. He checked on us regularly and always brightened the mood. Thank you, Samuel!

We rented umbrella and chairs and spent the day at the beach, with lunch at the restaurant. Although a bit crowded, as all the beach clubs are, the staff is extremely attentive, the waters clear and clean, the food abundant and very good, the music not too loud, prices very fair. Towels were 2$, there are 2 showers and bathrooms. It’s a ten minutes walk from the ferry station. Highly recommend this place.

We went with 4 couples for breakfast and ended up staying all day. Great location on North Beach. The breakfast was delicious. The waiter was so kind and held us eight beach chairs front row while we enjoyed our breakfast. Clean bathrooms.

This is a great spot however, we live here a third of the time and today was the second time they’ve substituted a cheaper tequila when we ordered another tequila in a margarita that we ordered. Also, they tried to overcharge us on our chair, so check your ticket and check your liquor

What a great beach experience. The food is good, especially ceviche, salads, espresso. They have a true espresso, nice & thick. I did miss the aguachiles and other menu items that aren’t there anymore. The water is deeper here which is nice during the hot season. Clean bathrooms and a shower to rinse off. But the staff are truly special - Super Samuel was my wonderful waiter.

Scenery really beautiful, very nice live jazz music, food however overpriced and not very tasteful. Too oily and heavy.

I was at this beach club with my boyfriend. I was born in Mexico, but live in DC. My boyfriend was born in DC. We both absolutely loved this place. The food was great. It tasted very authentic. The beach chairs were nice and clean. There is an outdoor shower you can use. The views are spectacular, and the staff were all very well put together and on point. Our server for both days was Jorge. He was actually born on the island and provided a lot of facts about the island. He kept us well fed, hydrated, and entertained throughout our entire stay there.

Spent the afternoon at the club. We managed to get loungers and booked a table for a sunset dinner. Samuel looked after us the whole time and was amazing. He went out of his way to make it a superb experience for us, always making sure we had everything we needed. He was extremely kind and great at his job. The food was delicious and cocktails even better. Highly recommend this club.
