Mayan Beach Club Restaurant & Tequileria

Looking forward to giving this site zero stars. Just any establishment, with rude and arrogant staff.
If you want to be discriminated against and treated rudely, come here, while the complaint to Conapred that my family will file proceeds.

If you want to get robbed go here. To book you need 1500 pesos. Despite how much we ordered and spent they demanded a 20% tip even though the service was very normal. Never to return again

We did not partake of the beach club itself, but had a lovely dinner on the beach.

Beautiful beachfront dining with an upscale menu which included plenty of options to satisfy all members of our party, including vegetarians.

The staff was beyond accommodating and offered for us to sit under the palapa in the bar area where it was cooler. We enjoyed cocktails until we took sunset pictures before our delicious family dinner.

The fire performance on the beach during dinner was a wonderful surprise which we all enjoyed!

We will definitely be back!

I made reservations for a special event and they canceled on me last minute. I showed up and they said closed for renovations. No employee was able to give me a straight answer. Such a disappointment.

When we arrived here around noon, they said all the beach chairs are reserved for the day and we couldn’t use any of them even though there were whole bunch of empty chairs. We had a pass to this place so we stayed here a bit and had some drinks. Whole time we were here, nobody was using those chairs. They should t allow people to reserve seats.

Samuel and Moises made our experience a great one! We got a warm welcoming, clarity on the menu, prices and availability of all services, a mix of professionalism and friendliness, tasty food, a fun and relaxing spot by the beach... My husband and I love isla and travel here about 3 times a year. We love it so much we decided to got married in Isla in August 2023 and I had my wedding at Mayan Beach Club. Planning a destination wedding isn’t easy but Mayan worked wonders setting up our vision and making it such a memorable experience. Communication was easy and my guests said nothing but amazing things about our wedding. I want to thank Laura and her whole team for truly making my husband and myself feel like royalty on our wedding day. The staff were always available to refill drinks and the food was absolutely fresh and amazing. I love the variety of food choices I was able to choose for my guests and that we had an open bar. During the day I know it may look small to host a wedding but we had 90 guests at our wedding and Mayan set up the beach beautifully. If you are thinking of a destination wedding I highly recommend Laura and Mayan you will not regret it!

We spent over $1000 and tipped $95. The waiter came back to the table and asked us if that was all? Very cheeky and impudent to ask such a thing!!!! I can't recommend this restaurant to anyone because of the very rude waiters, I advise everyone not to go. Cheater !!

The service at this club be is fantastic. When we contact the club prior to our trips they are always very accommodating to reserve our seats by the beach and provide great service throughout the day.
The food is always fantastic also but we have noticed they have gotten pretty expensive over the past 2-3 years. We love coming to this restaurant and beach club and will likely continue to do so in the coming years and future trips!

Unnecessarily expensive, frozen and poorly cooked food. Beautiful view of the ocean but not enough to compensate for the excessively expensive prices and such poor quality of food

The worst so called high end restaurant on the island of Isla Mujeres. Staff is clueless about the food and couldn’t answer simple questions. The tuna was dry and the restaurant offered no sauce to accompany the dry fish. They also overcharged us. The prices are ridiculously high for the quality of food. We had several meals at other restaurants that were 200% cheaper and 1000% superior. Avoid this place and save yourself the hassle, high prices and poor quality.

We stayed outside on two lounge chairs under an umbrella. The food and service were great. The ocean waters were a clear blue and warm.
