I recommend looking for a way to make the service more efficient since the waiting time for your dish to be served is very long. If there are 8 customers you have to wait 1 hour for them to serve you. The two waiters are friendly but you have to wait a long time for your turn.

We stayed at the Posada Del Mar hotel and the people have been super sweet and had a wonderful experience! The restaurant that’s attached to the hotel however, not so much. The restaurant is called Pinguinos. We had the same waiter the 3 times we went and every time, this waiter was terrible! There was no warm welcome, no smiles, NO hospitality what so ever. You could tell he hates his job and rolled his eyes and was too put out to give basic customer service. There was also an incident where he completely forgot to put a food order in for one of the people dining with us and instead of apologizing and trying to make things right, we got an “oh well you don’t get your food” needless to say, I was flabbergasted. Your job is to make tourists visit, enjoyable. There was no accountability, no apology, no attempt to make things right at all. Then he proceeds to take more money then the bill to tip himself! This is the worst service I’ve EVER had, I’ve never even had an experience like this back in the US. If you don’t want to provide good customer service, then don’t work in the service industry. It’s part of your JOB!

Our group of seven tried tacos, Al Pastore, marinated shrimp, tacos, crispy tacos, chicken nachos, horchata and a few other drinks and everything was absolutely delicious. If you was breathtaking, and our server was knowledgeable and polite.. definitely would recommend.

I was hesitant to eat in Isla Mujeres but I've tried the ceviche mixto of Calamari and octopus ?? and really blew my mind. The Octopus ? tacos were really good and the server Alberto was really nice and friendly.

I don't know if they treated us in a bad way because we were Mexicans like them, but the treatment was very bad, food took almost an hour to arrive and very bad by the way, in the same way we were obliged to leave a tip despite the bad deal, eye they charge before entering and minimum consumption ?, I would never return to that place, I do not recommend it

The drink and food were amazing. The staff was friendly. And the view of the beach was perfect. My Spanish isn’t good yet but we still had no problems communicating enough to make it a great experience.
