My least favorite meal while on the island. We stopped for breakfast and weren’t dis-satisfied, but when we had 5-star breakfasts other places it didn’t wow us. The omelette was good, pancakes were over brown and the fruit/yogurt bowl was probably the best of the four meals we ordered. I didn’t even take pics. Service was great and nice view of the docks.

BEWARE. $40 USD for 3 rum and cokes. Most expensive place on the island. Find another place to grab a drink ?
Food and service excellent

TOURIST TRAP!
I strongly do not recommend this place. The service was fine and the atmosphere was okay. The food was really bad.
I had the worst meal that I’ve had since my stay from this restaurant tonight. I ordered the shrimp dish with mango sauce. The shrimp and sauce were good, but not enough to out way the side of vegetables and rice. The vegetables were definitely frozen based on the texture. The rice was a little undercooked. We also ordered the guacamole and you could tell that the avocados were not fresh. The guacamole had a brown tint to it. They also charged an automatic 15% for tip.

Very brave food made without love very poorly presented. A shame because I was excited about my order.

Ordered a beef burrito. It was super dry, no cheese, no sour cream. I even think it wasn't beef at all (white meat), but asking the server, he stayed to it. Wouldn't g there again. Too pricy and not really authentic Mexican cuisine. Tourist spot.

What the lady said before me, this is 100% a tourist trap. Extremely sad and unfortunate that this was our first experience on the island.
Fried calamari - tasted and looked like a cheap frozen bag you can buy from the grocery store.
Octopus & El pastor tacos - absolutely no flavor.
I also ordered a piña colada which was all foam (supposed to be a frozen drink).
The final straw was when my husband & I were reviewing the prices on the menu (again, first timers and have heard all the scammer stories)
I guess the manager caught on, came over and slammed our receipt on the table to start explaining the prices to us…
Our waiter however, didn’t get his name, was very nice and helpful when deciding what to order.
However, you couldn’t pay me to come back here.
The waiters here will tell you the card reader doesn't work then give you the worst conversion rate on USD. The waiters argued with me after he said 250 pesos was $18. It's $15. I gave up but it honestly is exhausting to have to try and not be swindled at a restaurant of all places.
Food is good cheap if you can keep em honest. View spectacular

Miramar Isla Mujeres Restaurant is a peaceful and pleasant place on the seashore, the attention they offered us was friendly and professional, cold beers you can find a very varied menu of seafood and fish, their prices are reasonable, their atmosphere is better, calm and romantic, we will return!

Excellent place for your visit to Isla Mujeres. With handicap access, clean bathrooms, delicious and well-priced food, excellent ocean views and you can also go swimming right there.
Wheelchair accessibility: I went with two people in wheelchairs and they had no problem enjoying our stay. Both to access and in the bathrooms.

The food was good according to him, but the service was bad since when I paid they never gave me the change back. And we asked and the waiter had left and said that we had given him the rest as a tip (it wasn't true). We could have easily left it to him, but what really bothered us was the gesture of keeping the money. ??

The best thing about this place is that it's next door to Picus. If you're looking for mediocre food, litter strewn floors, and lecherous staff, take a seat. Otherwise, do yourself a favour and move on.
