Sushi by Limón

Some of the best sushi I have ever had. The service was amazing and the atmosphere was really relaxing.

Very good food in a beautiful, refined restaurant. Our server was friendly and attentive. Pricing is reasonable. From the sushi (recommend the locally caught grouper/whitefish nigiri!) to the ramen to the miso soup, they know what they’re doing.Restaurant was very quiet when we were there on a Wednesday night - if you’re on the fence, go!! Support this quality business!

We’ve been several times the atmosphere is chill & Customer service is Great !!! The sushi is fresh with excellent presentation.

Save your money and go to one of the many other great restaurants on the island. We looked at the rating and then some pictures and decided to give this a try. We got the menu and the prices were VERY high. Feels very overpriced. This is more than we would pay for sushi at home. We decided to try ramen. I got the pork ramen and while the broth was tasty, it was a small portion, not many noodles and four TINY pieces of pork belly…about the size of a peso. Not worth the money at all.After that, the waiter tried to act like he didn’t have enough pesos for change to try for an even higher tip than we were already offering after sitting down for less than 20 mins.

The sushi here is very good and the best in the island. We always come here when we visit Isla. Service and sushi are the best.However, next time we come here if the restaurant doesn't have drinking water we are dropping a few stars. Here is our recommendations if this happens again.A. Ask the restaurant next door for a couple bottles of water. Even offer to buy it from them.B. Run over to Chedraui and buy water.C. Run over to the little store one block away and buy water.D. Pay a taxi cab for options b or c (see above).And absolutely the last option....which is option z is to tell customers we are out of drinking water on a 200 Usd dinner. If this occurs offer the customer a free drink on the house.We really hope the owners read the above review and plan on which option to execute next time not enough planning occurs for drinking water.Thanks!!

The four times that I have gotten take out have been a disappointment. The karaage is soggy and not at all authentic. The dumplings were hard and chewy and you could tell that they were old. The filling had separated from the dough and I couldn't even eat the edges they were so hard. Very disappointed in Sergio on this one. I'm not sure if I would put my name on this place if I couldn't be there all the time. His other restaurant is always so good. I wrote them personally on Facebook but no one responded. So I'm leaving my honest review here in hopes that they change things. I will not order again. It's way too expensive to throw away.

I am a huge fan of Limon's, so I was so excited to try Sushi by Limon! It did not disappoint! The fish was fresh and delicious, presentation was beautifully done with little touches that show the go the extra mile (Wasabi shaped like a leaf, for example). My friend doesn't eat seafood and didn't have a problem finding a delicious dinner. And in Limon tradition, the staff is very professional and friendly! Shout out to Reyes as he took great care of us!

Fantastic sushi and overall experience. Our server was great but seemed to be covering a lot of tables or other tasks.Highlights: cucumber Margarita, tuna tataki, lobster salad, nigi maki, lobster salad roll.We loved the atmosphere upstairs. Highly recommended and we plan to come again!

We were excited to try Sushi by Limón, as I had heard some good things about it. However, I was very disappointed with our experience. The sushi was mainly rice and avocado, with a paper thin slices of fish if any. A few pieces were very fishy. The rolls were also very overpriced, at $80 for 4 rolls before tip. If you are visiting, I would recommend to stick with local cuisine, Save your sushi cravings for when you leave the island.The service was good but I would not recommend Sushi by Limón to anyone. Specially not if you know anything about real sushi...

This place was incredible! The tuna sashimi blew my mind- and the salmon skin roll was one of the best sushi rolls I’ve ever eaten! Reyes was our server and he was so fun and attentive. It was my birthday, and him and the other staff sang me the sweetest birthday song.Thank you! I would highly recommend this place.

a delicious, hidden gem ✨ we drove past here and just happened to see the sign. After quickly checking google and seeing the raving reviews, we decided it was a must stop. The quality of the food was insane, each bite so fresh and flavorful. Thank you!

We’ve been dining with Sergio for years, and his brilliance shines at his sushi ? restaurant too. The fish is fantastic and honestly we’d eat here daily if that were possible. The prices are reasonable for sushi and especially considering the quality. Besides the fish being delicious, the sushi rice is the right consistency (which can throw off the balance and taste). This is our new fav on Isla. ❤️?(Cash only)
