Very basic delicious street food, we had the Tacos, they were great.Tacos 25 Pesos each, Burrito 150 Pesos.Try also frozen Coconut next door :)

How can you beat the best street tacos you have ever had, at $2 each, with the balmy ocean breeze cooling off your fired up tastebuds, and the cheesy Macarena music coming From the nearby stingray? You cannot. This is the best eating in Isla Mujeres.

True taco wagon, tacos are good salsa is the star we had the pastor self serve toppings and a nice spicy salsa. Not open every day but when they are owner is friendly don't expect to sit standing room mostly

We wandered from our hotel and sampled tacos from several vendors along the way. Alex's tacos were our favorite! The al pastor & saudero were fantastic.

Glenssy's has been around forever and may be one of the first food carts on the island.! For the longest time no one knew it was there, a little white cart on the corner across from the cemetery. (It is now been repainted green on the bottom and a rusty color on the top.) Even when we started coming, to Isla, we didn't eat street food and stayed in the established restaurants. That was our mistake!!!! Simple, no frill but incredibly delicious food is what they serve. Tacos, burritos, sopas, pazole only on Tuesday kind of place. Tacos and sopas come in sets of 3. No, you can't have one of each meat. Three pollo, or carne, or pastor. Simple, don't overthink it. You get two little bags of sauce, one hot and one mild. People are figuring out what a great place this is at a very reasonable price. I personally LOVE the sopas, made with blue corn and whatever meat I'm picking on that day. I also think the burritos are delicious. Hubbie loves the tacos. This is a take out place. They have one table for two in the front. We eat on our cart or find somewhere to lean cause you want to eat this as soon as you smell it.
