Thieves, even though they are Mexican but not islanders, they let you down horribly, they don't set prices to charge you what they want, TOURIST STAY AWAY FROM

BE AWARE: they charge tourist a fortune for a few tacos. Better ask for prices. Normaly 5 tacos are max. 50 Pesos. They charged us 420 Pesos for 12 Tacos.
We loved the “eating like a local” vibe. Our goal was to explore places that don’t have tourists and this place was very authentic. The tacos were delicious and it was close to our Airbnb. ?

Too abusive in charging... They are nothing extraordinary and they do not display their prices, so they charge what they want... Not recommended... We ordered 3 waters, 2 tortas, two orders of tacos and 3 gringas and they charged us 800 pesos
Best local taco stand! Come check them out! Al Pastor, Bistec, tripa, arrachera, tortas! Hibiscus water (agua de Jamaica) is a must! You won’t find a place like this downtown!

The tacos have a good flavor, but nothing exceptional, the bad thing is the attitude of the person who serves you because they overcharge you and when you point it out they get upset and rude! I do not recommend them, they should charge what is fair and not pull things out of their sleeves in order to overcharge you.
Food is good, but we were deducted as tourists. We were charged 45$mx a gringa which is normally 30$. No recommendation.
very good play

Very happy to find this little Taco Stand, wish I would have found sooner! I was just driving around aimlessly looking for something local and noticed this taco stand, the locals were eating there so you know it’s a good spot! I was charged 28 pesos per taco, which I’m sure is more than the locals but I don’t mind paying it because it’s $1.65 per taco ya cheap whiners. The last sentence goes out to all the other reviews before me.
Rich flavor, a little expensive but rich

Fantastic taco stand run by father and daughter - the meat is delicious and the tortillas are perfect. $25 is a fair price on Isla Mujeres for a taco, likewise ~$75 for a torta. Highly recommend the al pastor!
No matter how good they are, it is terrible that they charge tourists differently than locals.

Eat where the locals eat! Not open until about 6pm (til like 1AM), this no frills street meat taco stand is the thing taco dreams are made of. Beef, al pastor... mmm. Perfectly balanced with fresh cucumbers, radishes and lime, not to mention their three made-from-scratch salsas. You will not be disappointed. Tacos cost like $20-30 pesos ($1 - 1.50 USD). Located in a very residential spot, you’ll see all the locals and taxi drivers stopping by all night.
Good tacos but they charge tourists more for the food! Had to pay 30 pesos per taco (saw a small menu and it said 25 pesos for taco pastor with cheese) and they charged us one more taco than we ate! Not recommended for tourists
We bought the 1st day and everything was fine, but the next day we bought less and they charged us more than the day before, when we told them they gave us other prices and that they charged for other things. Very bad experience, we feel robbed
