“We visited here for a couple of drinks - it wasn’t super busy at 10pm, but service was very attentive and the spicy margarita (served on the rocks) was one of the best I’ve had! Very reasonably priced - well worth a visit when you’re in Playa! Super friendly staff and great music choices, and the happy hour promotion makes this a very affordable option.“

“The place is very nice, the staff is very friendly, the music is great!!!! The average beer at 70 pesos is expensive but the loggerhead at 130 pesos is more reasonable, the only bad thing is that my nose detected a very strong allergen and I couldn't breathe so we had to leave, but maybe later I'll come back with luck and I don't get allergies. (I would also go later because at 6:30pm there was no food ?)“

“If you’re new to Playa and want to make friends, come to Buzo’s. Monday night is ‘Playa Bingo, Tuesday is quiz night and Wednesday is “Name That Tune” with DJ Jeff. Order from their extensive sea food menu or nibble from their snack menu. You’ll be welcomed with open arms!“

“We went there for frozen drinks for the kids because it was so hot in July. The main manager was very welcoming and helpful. It is right on the beach so there were great views of the ocean. The virgin drinks were just what we needed. Thanks for the great customer service.“

“Great when you don't have to train,
In November I passed without waiting in line and without any major problems, I had a great time with all their repertoire and I met incredible people
In July I had to stand in line, I waited for more than 30 minutes until I got desperate, since some kids got in and they didn't let you get on even though your group had been inside for hours.
If you go after 11, forget that it will take a long time in line, I suggest arriving before 10 “

“It is truly one of the best places in PDC where I have been with all kinds of friends; The drinks are super well prepared (I'm a fan of all their liter chelas.
The food is very good; The French fries never fail and the wings are incredible, better than in other restaurants specializing in that dish. Be sure to try the tamarind ones with chile de arbol.
My only request is that you be more aware of the volume of your music. The selection is not bad, but the people who go have to be shouting and climbing on the table to make themselves heard. I understand that it is part of getting the customer's attention, but they are already surrounded by a lot of noise, plus their horns blaring. I feel that for the environment and what one is going for, so much volume is not necessary.“

“Delicious food at this restaurant, the beef nugget was incredible.
To highlight the attention of our waiter Jordan, who spent the entire meal providing us with exceptional service, a great professional.
We will repeat for sure!
Kid-friendliness: Good place to eat with children, there are many good options for them. I recommend the quesabirria, the beef nugget and the hamburgers for the little ones.“

“Quantity decreased when not in the company of the owner's friend. The server added cheese to my order without telling me and it was an upcharge of 15 pesos for each of the two orders.
Parking: Located at an intersection so whatever you can find on the street“

“I chose this place to spend some time with my mother and niece, it seemed quiet and suitable to be with them and relax. I liked that you can stay in the lounge chairs for a minimum consumption of 500 pesos, we had a delicious breakfast, I loved the poached egg and bacon toast and the French bread. I highlight the attention of Alfonso, who was always on the lookout if we needed anything else and was very kind at all times. Recommended!“

“Las Helodias Sucursal is a large 2-story restaurant bar, only young people visit them, their ceviche is good and fresh, their shrimp cocktail is abundant and with very good flavor, their atmosphere is cozy, the shrimp broth made you sweat, it was Delicious, the attention we received was the best, everyone willing to make you feel good, especially a girl named Trinidad, she was great with us, we will return!“
“Overall, we had a nice meal. The waiter, Alfredo, was great. They provided a very nice complimentary passion fruit topped cheese cake for our anniversary. The asparagus, beet and Brie appetizer was a mess however. It came on top of a bunch of crunchy chips which did nothing but obscure the flavors of the veggies.“
“Had a blast there! Our server was Paula and she and the others were very attentive. The hype man and dj were great. I was traveling with my husband and kids aged 20-23 and it was great place for them to have fun and party. The food is a bit better than average. The drinks are good. The party atmosphere is bumping. If you don't like some wildness, loud music, or dancing it isn't the place for you. If you want to turn up or act out it's perfect. The balloon lady is hysterical- if you don't want a balloon just say so, otherwise give her a small tip. Someone will take your photo- if you don't want to buy just say so, if you do it's like $25. The shot lady will come by- if you don't want shots just pass, otherwise it's $9 a shot. All of that can really add up so just be aware, and if you don't want to be bothered with people interrupting and asking for money this isn't your place. I knew going in and it was my college kids favorite place on our vacay. I would recommend!“
“Having lived in Greece filor 4 years, Greek food is my go to when I want good comfort food. This my second time at this establishment. Both times I brought friends who did not know Greek food. I suggested the Spanakopita as an entree, followed by the Pikilia which is a mixed platter with several typical Greek recipes (Moussaka, Pastitsio, Dolmades, Keftedes, Falafel and more), followed by Baklava for dessert. A wow every time. I cannot even find this back home in Canada!!! If you have a chance when in Playa Del Carmen, it is worth the stop. Owner and son are Greek!“

“I love this place. Manne is a super incredible person, he and his team make you feel in a very pleasant, confident and fun environment. The food is delicious (the goulash, my goodness, how delicious it is) and the beer is always cold. I highly recommend this place, it is a gem in the center of the city.“
