Makito Japanese and Thai Restaurant

Seemed a gamble going for Japanese and Thai in Mexico but having had really average Mexican food the night before we gave it a go. Very pleasantly surprised - charming service and excellent food (both sushi and the Thai food).

Spectacular food!We visited the place to eat. We were 5 people so we ordered two dishes to share and then one dish each to complete.Good portions. The price is normal for the area where it is located.The attention was always very good and attentive.

Great place to eat, the food was awesome, our waiter was excellent.I don’t remember his name, but I remember he told he was from Acapulco.We had to wait for our food for a few minutes but is worth it.100 % recommended this place in puerto aventuras.

Very bad home delivery service, almost 2 hours to receive my order, supposedly it would take 40 minutes and they don't even answer my messages asking about my order.

We walked by one night when it was closed and made it a point to come back.We arrived early, made a reservation for 6:15pm and walked around town a bit. No one was at the restaurant when we arrived.When we returned for dinner at 6:15, it was still just basically us. The service was attentive and friendly.After our drinks and edamame were dropped, it began to get busier and the service came to a halt. It took over an hour for our food to arrive after the edamame. When it did come, not all meals were ready, and half of my son's meal was forgotten about.Dinner took nearly 3 hours. It was a long and frustrating experience.We thought the food was really good (appreciate the vegan options) but the service needs improvement.

The food is very good, I highly recommend it, the service was friendly but a little slow on some dishes, the sushi was very fast but the noodles, for example, took a long time, however it was worth the wait, everything was delicious!

Fernando is absolutely amazing. I’ve been to Mexico many many times and I’ve had many different experiences in so many different restaurants. This by far has taken the lead in every Single Way, Fernando takes care of us. The food is amazing. The drinks are amazing the pie is 10 out of 10 the Gyoza dumplings are a must have highly recommend. Thank you again again.

Here are my arguments:1. The dumplings were served and were frozen inside.2. The sushi rice was a paste.3. The tempura was bathed in fat.4. Very uncomfortable chairs.In short, this place is not worth it.There are other places that are more worth it in the marina.

It took more than 1:30 to serve three dishes of sushi, they brought the tempura order wrong and they forgot a dish that we had been waiting for 1 hour and 30

If your looking for excellent Sushi or great Japanese dishes this is the place.We ate her several times and tried many of the dishes all were very tasty. Really liked the Makito Sushi we liked all the sushi we tried. Some were not wrapped tight enough to my liking. But I have weak chopsticks skills so... ?Our daughter is a vegetarian and she had lots of options and she was very happy as well.A great option for when you want something different from the usual in the area.
