When we arrived I was angry because they didn't serve us immediately and there was a family waiting in the restaurant room... Then I realized that they had to wait for a group of people to get together, why the concept of service like tepanyaki, there are 9 places around the chef.
Chef Sandro and waiter Lucas were the best we could have, both with great pleasure in their work and excellent service. Thanks for the experience!

As much as we tried online, customer service and in person we never got to go in or experience. Very disappointed with the online reservation system and the guest services were of no help. ?

This restaurant is located inside the Catalonia Hotel in Puerto Aventuras. Made a reservation through the online system for 6:30 and showed up 15 minutes ahead of time. We were told by the person working the front desk - Fahzel or something like that -that he couldn’t let us in. I showed the confirmation email showing 6:30 and he still insisted that he didn’t have the reservation and we were turned away. The way he spoke to us with arrogance, desdain and lack of respect was offensive. We went to guest services to seek help. After explaining the situation and showing the confirmation email, the person who helped us, called the restaurant and spoke to someone and instructed him to honor the reservation. We went back and were let in this time. The energy to enjoy this type of experience was so deflated, that what was supposed to be a fun and enjoyable group dinner went south quickly, due to the fact that despite being able to have dinner at the facility, the mood for the rest of the night have been ruined by the way we were addressed. Based on the way this individual is allowed to treat people, we will not be coming back to this resort.

Nice hibachi style Japanese food. The cheft is entertaining and the food is good. Portions can be a little more to be satisfying.

We loved everything about our waiter, David, our chef Ricardo and, of course, the delicious food as well as watching it be prepared in an entertaining fashion. Memorable experience. Also, when you are asked whether you want soup or rice or both, the correct answer is both. Get both - you deserve it ?

We booked to come to this restaurant for our first A la Carte dinner for our honeymoon stay at the catalonia Maya riveria, one staff told us that there is only room for one of us to eat and to tell either my wife or myself will nit be able to join another couple who also stated that it was for 4 people. I can't believe they 1. Would allow a honeymoon couple who has privilege access to do this and have one person eat and the other one would have to leave or wait for them to finish. 2. The lady who was hosting at the restaurant was very rude and condescending aswell.It seems like they can take more then 2 people at a time as we saw a group of 6 right after we walked in.3. They allow regular guests to pay cash for entrance into the restaurant and take priority over other guests who have paid a huge amount money for privilage to have these privileges for bookings and other services that just get left to the way side.I have had way better experiences at other resorts and not have paid for privilage either and to be treated like this.4. The customer service desk does absolutely nothing for you as a guest aswell.At least Esteban at the front desk was able to get us into the steak house so at least we could eat that night. Thank you Esteban!If you plan on paying for privilege don't do it here, I would highly recommend ocean coral and turquesa in the Mayan riveria. Absolutely steller service, drinks and food were delicious and they actually have more professionalism then the catalonia riveria maya.

Revisar las areas de oportunidad en el personal nuevo para que atiendan amablemente a los huespedes. El viaje 2022 de nosotros fue excente este 2023 hubo un pequeño incoveniente pero sabemos cambiara.

En términos generales todo muy bien, el personales del hotel muy atentos y amables a brindarte un buen servicio, el área de piscinas me gusto mucho, solo un detalle con el horario, me hubiera gustado que fuera una hora mas extensa para disfrutar de ella.

Un excelente hotel, para disfrutar de unos días de vacaciones, diversión y relajación. Habitaciones confortables, personal súper amable, área de playa muy bonita, limpia y segura. Todo muy bien....felicidades!

Mejorar la variedad en el buffet, habilitar el restaurante el mercado para almuerzo igual, poner en el lobby una máquina de café y de jugos, puesto que los bares se llenan y para la gente que no toma, tarda en esperar por un refresco o café, poner animación en la otra alberca igual

Turismo en grupo para conocer otros hoteles sus servicios instalaciones y sobre todo estar seguros de que no aplica la discriminación de las intalaciones estan abiertas para todo de turismo gracias de nuevo espero visitarlos nuevamente

I haven't expected the service here to be this good but I was blown away!! David the cook and Pedro our waiter was super good :D
